We bought this for our 3 year old grandson for Christmas and he hasn't stopped playing with it yet! It sparks his imagination and he plays with it for hours every day. Any time he is allowed to pick out a special "prize" at the store he always buys more animals for his "grilla mountain"
I would definitely recommend this toy. My son LOVES, LOVES it! When he first got it he would shove the bat disks into the gorilla's mouth from the front but now he is a little older (3 1/2) and he does it correctly. I also love the way it folds into itself, nice storage!!!
This was a Christmas gift for my six year old son. He absolutely loves it! I love that the batteries were included, it is fully essembled, and completely ready to play from the minute it comes out of the box. My son loves the sound effects it makes. I would definitely recommend this product!
We have had Gorilla Mountain for about a year and a half and it is just amazing. It was purchased for our then 4 and 2 year old boys to share. Even with the age gap, they were both very engaged. The 4 year old loved playing pretend with the jungle man and shooting bats and our 2 yr old loved the waterfall with lights and sound and the hippo. We have 20 month old twin girls that now love the animals and boys have continued to use it for creative play. At playdates it appeals to boys and girls alike and has no violent overtones. This toy folds up nicely and can travel with you. I have had kids from 1-9 be entertained by it. We suggest it often and have purchased it as a gift as well. You will not be disappointed!
Our granddaughter 5 yrs old was so happy to get this toy. She had so much fun playing with all the feaures of this Gorilla Mt. It comes with enough pieces to keep her busy for a very long time. We enjoyed watching her showing us all the features of it. Great Toy. The slithering snakes were cool. The flying disks out of Gorilla mouth, fun. The hippo and lion neat extras. The spider and it's web ohhhhhhhhhhhhh neat. I liked the sounds waterfall and jungle sounds.
I bought this toy for my son 2nd birthday and he loves it. He plays with it everyday and for hours at a time. My two girls, one 3 and one 5 also love this toy and play with it daily with that being said it should keep him busy for years to come so i will get my moneys worth... Down side is if you have more than one kid you will want to get more guy figures because this toy only come with one. The toy is also very loud and the kids wake me up in the morning playing with it but other than that i love it and I am very glad to have gotten it. Hope this help...
I bought this toy in Dec. 2008 for my son's 3rd birthday. He absolutely loved it and has played with it everyday since. It has been almost a year and, with all his other toys (even an elaborate Thomas Train set), this is the only one that gets played with on a daily basis and he never gets bored with. My six year old daughter also likes to play with it and she is a total Barbie/Disney Princess fan so that says a lot for this particular toy. I am going to purchase more of the Imaginext line. You just can't go wrong with this toy. It truly entertains for years.
Buying toys that entertain, teach, and keep a childs interest is hard to find. My 4 yr old grandson loves this toy, it takes him on adventures. It has kept his interest and his 6 yr old sisters for hours. It is worth the money. It will be hard to top this toy next birthday.
Bought this for my 3 yr old gradson, he almost did not get it! I LOVED playing with it, and am going to enjoy playing with him. Will enhance lots of imagination play. Great toy!
My three year old grandson wanted this for his birthday and he plays with it all the time.I had it sent to him as they live in another state so I have not actrually seen it yet but I will when I visit. As long as my grandson and his parents are happy then I am happy. I know they have a lot of imaginex products.
