I recently received the So Big Sis doll for free for my honest review and opinion. So when I first saw the So Big Sis I thought wow this is so big and my 14 month old daughter would be terrified of it. I was wrong though it was the complete opposite she fell in love with it and so did my 5.5 year old son!! I love that it has two different stages one for pretend play or just music! My daughter smiles when it comes on and my son likes to fly around the room with it with the imaginative play!! I also love that the lights on her stomach are not too bright! My daughter starts dancing when she hears the tunes! It definitely holds her attention!! I love this little dog it is just the cutest and the bows on the ears are such a nice touch!! It's not too loud & the cute voice is perfect. It is just loads of fun the songs are pretty catchy and mom and dad find themselves singing to it!! I believe this toy will be played with for a long while, not just something they play with once and as my youngest gets older and it will also be a great nap pillow! Ordered Big Sis, French Version to keep Little Sis, English version. We left Big in the box to see if my Grand-daughter wanted it. She pointed to it (she's 16 months old) so we knew it was o.k. to let into our family of dolls. She is well made, soft, lightweight to carry around. She plays with Little, Big, and did I mention Grandma gave her the little Boy last year? Great Fisher-Price toys!

When I received Fisher-Price® Laugh & Learn® So Big Sis™ in the mail I did not expect her to be so big! Wow! Very nice interactive toy. Push the button on her tummy or shake her around and she talks and sings. I like that it has 2 smart stages so it won't get boring and my newly 15 month old can learn new things as she grows. Big sis has 2 volume settings, one loud and one that is perfect for parents. Big sis has a stand on her bottom so she sits up, but I don't think it's too hard so it doesn't interfere with cuddling or carrying it around the house. My daughter only seems interested in it a little bit right now, I think because she might be a little young for it. When we do play with it, she likes to dance to the music and it makes her smile. I have already given the description of the condition of the packaging (black plastic bag) of this toy. It was a gift for a 2 year old, and the box was torn, smashed, and in poor condition.
This is huge, and looks great, but is not very fun. The hard bottom ruins cuddling. This doesn't engage my 18 month at all. Most of the songs last less than 15 seconds. There is only 1 button, so if your child likes a certain song they won't be able to play just that song. There isn't a constant play feature where it will play all of the songs. Size and the fact that it counts up to 20, not 10 are the only positive features. The smaller laugh and learn pup I got 7 years ago has been a favorite for all 3 kids so far. On the small one each button plays different songs, and there's a play all feature. This big one pales in comparison by a lot. Do not buy this cheap junk, the smaller one will make you and your child(ren) happier.
