My son absolutely loves this, and it comes with a little Thomas too. This was by far the most exciting holiday gift he got. He squealed loud enough that I'm sure the entire block heard it. You can use other magnetic Thomas & Friends figures with this set as well. They're all little large to use on all parts of the track, but that's not a big deal. They can even fit in the barn, which he also loves.
We purchased this for our 3 year old son when he was home sick and played with it for hours. We also purchsed the Farm Animal Car so that he could take Thomas around the track with his delivery. It sparks a ton of imagination play where he can role play with Thomas and his other die-cast trains. An added plus is that it is smaller than other Thomas the train series and your living room does not turn into a train station with tracks all over the floor. It is very easy to unfold and fold back up for storage and our son was able to fold it up all on his own with no problems. Very compact and takes up very little space on his shelf. This was our first Take-n-Play playset and we have decided to put the take-n-play Misty Island Rescue take-n-play set on our christmas shopping list for our son.
