Thought good quality %26 good sizes. Breading was more of breadcrumb lighter. Very easy to prepare in oven air fryer. We added a bit of seasoning %26 squeezed lemon once cooked. Will buy again!
usually a good buy but wow the piece has really gone up and for this? half the fillets are missing breading! very disappointed
This was the worst food product I've ever purchased. My entire family thought it was disgusting. We threw it away after trying it, which we NEVER do, and then learned our dog and our cat both wouldn't even touch this. This is not tilapia. It's absolutely disgusting.
The only thing good about this was the size but who wants a huge piece of nastiness. So disappointing!
I was looking forward to eating some fish for supper after a long day at work. Boy, was my family and I disappointed. We used to buy a similar fish at Sam's Club, but this is nothing compared. Nasty tasting, strong smell and inedible. We had to throw it away. I ended up eating a rice cake with some peanut butter for dinner, and my husband and daughter went through a drive-thru. Total waste of money!
We used to get Parmesan encrusted tilapia when we had our Sam's Club membership. It's the one thing from Sam's that we miss so I was excited when my husband found this and bought 2 bags from Walmart. We made it last night, both bags, and it was awful. Completely inedible. The fishy smell alone was enough to make you gag. The breading... It was gritty, dry and lacked flavor. None of us could choke it down and we had to run through Mcds drive-thru since it was so late. What a waste of money. Maybe we just happened to get 2 bad bags? I'm not willing to try again.
I will never buy this again. i baked it. The consistency was fine, but the taste was awful. Tasted like a dead fish laying in the sun, five feet from the ocean.
Typically filets are cut lengthwise along the spine of a fish. My package of filets (purchased 6/24/23) were cut across the spine. As a result, each filet had a hard mass in the center that I couldn't cut with a fork. Each filet in the bag had that disgusting, nasty mass. We ended up throwing them away. I've attached a picture of me trying to pierce the fish. I had scraped off the breading to see why I couldn't cut a fish filet with a fork.
I got boneless and skinless tilapia not the Parmesan tilapia and no one told me about the substitution or gave me an opinion… I'm very upset about it honestly…. I wanted what I ordered!
WHY ON EARTH do they have all this gigantic text that is totally meaningless on the package and the directions are tiny size 2 font nobody can read, white text on pale green... INSTRUCTIONS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. What's wrong with manufacturers who do this????
