These scissors are the best scissors for kids that I have come across. I am a teacher and I definitely prefer these over others. They cut paper so well...the paper wont slip like on some other scissors. They are not softgrip but I don't think that's a deal breaker. The blunt tip is nice for the younger kids. I like how it comes with the cover and I didn't think the eraser on it would really erase but it does erase rather well! I was shocked how good it erased. I highly recommend these.
We own 4 pair of these scissors the kids absolutely love them. They are colorful, cut smoothly and fits their fingers comfortably. I really like that the sheath is included for extra protection. We do lots of arts and crafts so the sheath having an eraser comes in handy! With the lifetime warrenty included these overall are a great buy. As a mother of 3 I would highly recommend these!
Received item undamaged. This is a purple blunt tip 5inch scissors. These are small in aize but perfext for a childs first day of school. These also come with a protective sleeve and also with a sleeve to put the tip in. This tip also can but used like an erasor. This us perfect for in class projects. These are small enough to fit sit inside a pencil case, or inside your book bag. These are perfect for little beginners on how to use scissors safetly.
I have a child that has hand and eye coordination problems. It is very hard for her to cut paper smoothly and straight. I was looking for some easier to use safety scissors for my kids when I found these Fiskar's scissors. I purchased 4 or 5 different brands. I made sure they were different. My kids tried all the scissors and my youngest with the coordination issues kept choosing to use the scissors from Fiskars. Here is what she told me. She loves the color purple was one of the reasons she likes them. The other scissors would quit cutting in the middle of her project. Some scissors are more plastic then metal. There would be a small metal strip to cut with that doesn't go all the way to the end. These scissors allow her to cut without stopping. Her 5 year old hands have no issues cutting her projects. I like the fact that it comes with a small safety cap. Makes it nice keeping the scissors blades protected when the scissors is in the kids project box wnd they reach their tiny fingers in and the scissors are closed with a sheath.
This Fiskars 5 scissors ,are great for when it comes to safety. They have a a blunt tip to prevent your young children from harm themselves or someone else. I like the color options for little ones to pick their fav color scissors made specially for them. What's awesome is it has a safety cover too, that's an added bonus if your child stores their scissors and prevents them from getting cut because it keeps the scissors closed at all time. My child is only five and these scissors are easy for her to handle. They aren't heavy like some scissors. It makes learning some fine motor skills fun, when doing crafts your child likes.
This scissors are lovely, purple is my favorite color so that is a plus. The scissors have a blunt tip which make it safer for my kids to use, aside from that is also comes with a protective sleeve that is also an eraser, so is a double win! They are easy to handle, sharp but safe to use, and I can tell is made out of high quality material. Will definitely recommend for your kids, home and even your office.
The Fiskars 5 blunt tip scissors are small, sharp yet safe for children. I like the blades cover they come with for safe storage and transferring. My son as old as 4 was able to use these scissors for all basic cutting of paper. My husband even used them to cut and repair his jeans!
I received the Fiskars brand kid scissors in the purple color. This pair of scissors measures six inches from top to bottom. I love that these come with the guard!! There is a guard that fits over top of the blades for easy storage and don't have to worry about them coming open. That is a feature you do not see every day. The guard fits very snug yet still easy for my 2nd grader to remove it. Not to mention that the sheath is an eraser too! What a great added feature. I have never seen scissors with that added eraser which I think is a great idea. The scissors do recommend the ages of 4 plus. When cutting the blades have very smooth operation. There is one larger finger loop and ergonomic thumb loop that is smaller. The blades are also safety-edge with rounded tip for added safety. My second grader had no problem cutting with them. Easily cuts through paper, foam, ribbon, construction paper and foam just to name a few. Something else I like is that this Fiskars brand has a full lifetime warranty. I have had this brand in other sewing scissors and that really makes a difference to know the company stands behind them. The warranty is as good for as long as you own this product.
This scissors has good quality. My daughter has been using it for her school art projects, crafting and I say everything that she needed to cut. It is sharp but safe. The design is good that kid's can hold it easily. It came with a scissor cover which is good for protection. Can easily wipe clean. Lightweight and easy to handle. It is durable, plastic handle is of good quality even though it fell a lot in our tile floor. Our daughter is happy with it and she got the cute purple color.
These Fiskars Purple Scissors are quite an excellent and fun color! It's so comfortable around the loops, to hold for a bit of time without it hurting or causing much straining pain from using them. The blunt-tips are a favorite of mine because it provides that benefit of no stabbing or hurting oneself easily, by accidentally dropping, touching, or not paying attention to the pointed front. Plus, it doesn't really make much of a difference while cutting, it still cuts perfectly, just that it's a whole lot safer. Additionally, I use to own a pair of blunt style scissors, but this really caught my attention because it came with a safe way to store the scissors by the matching purple cover for the blade. I don't think it's much of an issue since it is blunt, that it won't easily scratch something when stored upside down or close to something, but I do like that to cover up and make it appear a bit more protected. For kids, this is a wonderful art creating tool! Additionally, even as an adult it's fun to just use these on everyday computer paper, journal paper, scrapbooking and pretty much many crafts I do or normally for cutting things like string or wire. However, it is not too bad for the durability and strong steel blades. So I really can't say after daily use of this, once I had it in my house, I found any problem with the product or anything off while it cuts or just opens and closes when in use.
