[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Fiskars Dressmaker scissor is a high-quality pair of shears. It is a must-have tool for anyone who is a sewing enthusiast. The stainless-steel blade is exceptionally sharp and durable. The long 9-inch blade makes my cut straight, clean, & accurate. It cuts through regular fabric like a hot knife through butter. Even cutting through thick fabric, like denim, is also a breeze. The best feature of these shears is the ergonomic handle design. Surprisingly, the large handle is extremely comfortable to hold! It fits securely in my hand, reducing the likely hood of my wrist hurting when attempting to make longer cuts.

I have never had a pair this long and I absolutely love that they are sharp and cut to the end of the scissor. I had attempted to include a video of the cut, but the space would not allow it.
Fiskars is always a great brand of scissors or shears. They stay sharp (unless you cut cardboard with them which I will never do again) for a long time and are lightweight on my old hands. Remember, fabric shears are not for crafting poster board. My bad. My old ones are now in my crafting drawer and these new ones will only be used for fabric.

They perform great with all sorts of fabrics. I have used them with canva, leather, cotton, fleece and stretchy materials. The longer blade (9”) helps me cut faster and keep a straight line. The way the handle is molded is perfect for my small hand. I feel that I can be precise with them and my hand feels less fatigued after repeated cuts compared to other scissors. Bottom line, they're a must-have for any seamstress.

I've bought cheap scissors, but they always break and stop working pretty quickly, but these are much different and higher quality. It also cuts very precisely and cuts through tough material with ease.

Not happy. I ordered it to replace a steel scissor I've had for over 40 years. I found all the orange plastic on it makes the balance different and very bulky to use. If I cut a wide and then long piece of material it doesn't zip across the cutting board.
