This is our second one! My son loves his! It allows him to compete with the rest of our family for steps, tracks his sleep and has made him much more aware!! He is 8 and for the money it makes for great fun, awareness, and security!

Excellent idea to keep you child fit and active. You open the Fitbit up under your adult Fitbit account but you child can follow on their own device. Safe for children their photos are not used.
I bought this for my 8 year old daughter, and it has been perfect. She can easily use the watch and app. She is a little small, but the Fitbit fits well, and it looks like it will fit her for a while. She loves all of the features, and she has enjoyed wearing and using it.
My kid loves that she can see whose calling her. It would be great if it came in other colors.
My 8 year old grandson is competing with the family adults winning daily showdowns, exceeding his 10k goal and has a high top badge for over 20k steps in a day. All this is in the 19 days he has had it! Great birthday gift!

Kids love it except that you can't set it to recognize different activities like cycling. Also I initially liked that the charger is magnetic at first but it falls off with the slightest touch.
The wristband is poorly made. I received this item on November 1st. By November 14th, the wristband was broken. The watch isn't even worn everyday. I read reviews about the wristbands being faulty but I thought my daughter's band would last longer than 2 weeks. The watch should come with extra wristbands instead of the option to buy because they are so poorly made. Also, the charging cord is too short. When the watch is being charged from the outlet, it just dangles. I like the actual capabilities of the fitbit but I will be returning it to spend my money on something that is actually worth it.
BUY Ace 2 ONLY if you purchase a different band. Unless your child wears this watch TIGHT to their wrist, the tracker WILL fall out...... MANY TIMES! I never thought to get a different band until she lost it for good. money wasted!!
