This paper is perfect... the best for school age children and anyone who is storing pages of notes for the long term. It is tough, we even staple other sheets, forms, or documents that are printed on regular paper to a page of reinforced paper, so it can be used repeatedly and take the long term storaging, traveling, and locker abuse.
Reinforced is expensive, but for notes, especially for sequenced courses, this is great for us. So hard to find in the store, even with great help from store associates. There was plenty of wide ruled but I guess the college ruled flies off the shelves. Also great to not have to deal with the back-to-school mob. Arrived days before the site projected. Very, very pleased.
My daughter hates when the holes rip so this paper solves the problem. A little pricey compared to the regular paper so I don't allow her to use it for scrap only notes and hw.
Five Star Reinforced College Ruled Filler Paper 100 Sheets are durable! I used the sheets in my binder and the pages do not rip off. The triangle hole is design to "resist tearing from rings". It also made it easier for me to turn the pages. The holes and the reinforcement tape work hand in hand with each other. The reinforcement tape on top of the rings also made the paper stronger against tearing. The paper has lots of lines for me to write essays. College ruled is the best paper is have ever used! I would definitely buy Five Star reinforcement college ruled filler paper in the future. I highly recommend it to everyone! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This filler paper has a reinforcing strip that runs down the side with the holes that keeps it from tearing out of a 3-ring binder. My kids love this paper as it stays put for the whole school year. Great product
I bought this product and less than a week after placing my order it came in the mail. The paper was exactly what was advertised and very sufficient for a college student like me. I am more than satisfied. I just wish the paper could have been cheaper since Walmart is all about low prices.
I love using the reinforced paper for my children's school binders because the pages don't tear out as easy. However, the package of paper I received had a defect. The bottom hole was not fully punched so I had to manually punch it out on each sheet of paper.
I recently purchased two packs of the 5 star college ruled paper and both packs were filled with the majority of the papers poorly printed. it hurts my eyes and is just ridiculous that the lines are jagged with dark and light printing.
I bought this product for my son who uses the flex notebinders. His papers are constantly tearing out of those things. For the price of the paper, you would think that both sides are reinforced but that's not the case. Only one side is reinforced. That would be alright if a better quality tape was used but this tape is just a flimsy as the paper. I ended up buying tape and regular paper and reinforced it myself cheaper than this paper. Great concept, badly executed.
I would like this product to work as advertised, and it would if ALL the sheets of paper had film placed to the LEFT of the holes. Some of the strips are good, others are lined up with the edge of the hole and my binder rings have torn through the paper! So frustraing Mead's quality control is low on this item. I expect better from Mead, especially with such a great idea as this one is. I will be asking for Mead to send replacement reams.
