I love this case. It holds all of my knitting needles which I have a ton of! The pockets are fantastic for my stitch markers and other tiny accessories. The case has an odd smell which I think is just due to the material it is made of. In spite of the smell it is still a fantastic buy. I would repurchase in the future.
I love to crochet and have soooooo many crochet hooks I would constantly lose the sizes that I used most often. This case has made it easy to keep track of my hooks and save me money!
I bought this online... it said purple & gray (the only color they had) ! But I received a red & black one !! Thank Goodness my friend liked the red & black one and bought it from me so I didn't have to return it. I haven't bought another one for that reason. I really liked how it was make too !! If the color doesn't matter.
Mine is grey and black and my husband bought if for me in the store a couple of years ago for my birthday. It looks to be the same model, just a different color. It has three pockets inside. The bottom two pockets are 5x6 squares and have Velcro flaps. I store blunt tip needles, counters, stitch markers, tip protectors, stitch holders and a small pair of scissors in these. The top pocket is an open 10x6 pocket and I store my three pair of circular needles there and my gauge. The left side has two rows of four pockets for needles. I have 14 pair of needles in it at the moment and it's pretty well maxed out. Size 17 needles is about the largest that will fit in this case. The far right pocket is two inches across and the other three are about 1 inch across. I have put double points in the bottom row before but I now have a separate case for those. The case is made mostly of nylon (inside) and canvas (outside) fabric and holds up well. It feels like cardboard on the inside and some padding on the outside but it is covered with very sturdy fabric. So the case is rigid without the hard plastic sides. I have a child that is constantly swiping my needles for wands so it gets opened a lot. I've never had the zipper snag on anything or failed.
this case was an Xmas gift for our daughter, I filled it with duplicates of my needles, hooks, holders, etc. - for a beginning knitter it's the perfect size. the hard shell case is extra protection against bent needles and the full zipper opening means she can easily reach everything.
There is no room for crochet hooks, but nice pockets to store your circular needles and knitting/crochet supplies such as small rulers, spacers, etc.
I got one of these about a year ago and love it. This is the only case I've seen that holds knitting needles, crochet hooks, and all the other miscellaneous tools. Previously all my knitting and crochet tools were in a drawer getting very mixed up, and whenever I took a project anywhere I'd have to really keep track of stuff to make sure I didn't leave anything behind. The velcro pockets are good for holding tapestry needles, stitch markers, gauge ruler, etc. Each pocket goes all the way to the bottom of the case so there's a short, medium, and long pocket. The long one is just right for holding papers. And the elastic holders for the hooks & needles accommodate even the jumbo plastic tools. I rarely give perfect reviews like this but there's really nothing to criticize about this product. It's also made of the same sort of material as backpacks and luggage (a bit lighter but very similar) so I expect it to last a while.
Appears to be well constructed. Just recently received as a gift. So time will tell. Nice amount of space, two midsize pockets and a larger pocket, great for storing anything from yarn needles to pattern sheets. I've been accumulating those from the skeins, now I have somewhere to put them.
Not a lot to say about it as the images and description do that well enough. I will say it is cheaply made and looks like a 5 dollar item from a dollar store. With that said, it is still inexpensive and does the job for some of what I was looking for.
It was difficult to tell from the ad just how big this case was (i.e., exactly how many PAIRS of knitting needles this case held. I have a lot of needles in many sizes. The slots in this case will only hold one needle (not a pair). So, I've stuffed it full and hope that it will hold up! It appears to be of good quality. It's just doesn't hold as many needles as I need it to!
