I bought this chair for my 11 year old son to use at his desk. He put it together himself. He loves it and even carries it upstairs every time he uses the computer. I tried it out myself and it is very comfortable on my back.
Bought the chair for my daughter. Was looking for a green chair to match her room decor and she picked this for the style. I agreed for the price. Chair arrived without delay. All parts were there, was as easy to set up as the typical chair and was done in short order. As with other complaints, attaching the chair back to the spine required a little more effort than usual for these chairs but that is because of the style. The back is highly curved. Not anything to complain about really. The chair is sturdy and looks good, my daughter loves it and its reasonably priced. Would recommend it.
Looks cool and fits nicely in a small space, but it is self-assembly and requires an extra pad to be comfortable for an entire workday
Bought two of these for my kids to use at their desks. The shiny trim around one of the seats was loose and I had to rip it off and put it back on correctly. The seats are stuffed in the box and the plastic parts ended up leaving dents in the padding of the seat and back rest that haven't come out yet (three days). They look to be permanent. Also, the chairs give off an awful smell that hasn't gone away in three days. I hope the smell goes away soon. Very chemical like smell. Also, although the height is adjustable, the weight of my 75 lb son was not enough to allow the seat to go down when he pulled the lever. My 50 lb daughter didn't stand a chance. I had to push down on the seat back while they pulled the level in order to make it go down. You would think since this is a kid sized chair, a kid would be able to operate it without help. As for the positives, they are a good size for the kids, though tight for me (150 lb adult male). The wheels work pretty well and it rolls well on carpet.
The chair is junk, junk, junk! The workmanship is so terrible, it came with several cracks in the trim and looked cheap. When we tried to put it together due to the back being bowed only one of the bolts would go in at a time. We tried everything from strategy to muscle to get both bolts into the backrest - to no avail. Finaly the very short and cheaply made bolts started to strip! Very disappointed, do not get this chair!
Can't keep anything tightened up on it...I tighten every day and it still wiggles loose
This is a really neat looking chair that is completely impossible to but together. None of the parts were made to go on the chair, and the ones that were the holes do not match up with the parts!!
There is a plastic cover that is supposed to go over the metal support attached to the chair back, but it doesn't fit and the sharp metal is left exposed. I bought 3 chairs for my granddaughters and the part doesn't fit on any of them!
The pink seat material is inferior and a darker material under it shows through, making the edges look dirty. It came with a 4-inch long dent in the seat padding from shipping; we cannot get it out. As you look down at the seat, the pink portion of the seat does not line up evenly along the silver edging so it looks asymmetrical. The screws that came with it were too short to secure the seat. My husband had to buy longer ones. Some screws were also missing. The screw holes did not line up so he also had to drill new holes. His overall opinion? He said the chair was a pile of "junk", but he used more colorful language! We debated whether to send the chair back but since we had to drill holes to assemble it, decided to write this review to warn people instead. We will try & use this chair for a young granddaughter's desk at our house. She'll outgrow it within 5 years anyway, if it lasts that long. Would we buy this chair over again? Heck, no.
It smelled strongly of rubber or plastic for a week and it still has a faint chemical odor. The back is loose after only a week and the seat is terribly uncomfortable. This is going to the dump.
