The only problems that I had with this swing set is that didn't come with and kind of ground anchors. The bar for the seesaw isn't straight because of the way it is mounted, and the bars for both seesaw and the slide are longer than the support bars for the whole swing set. Also, the instructions could have been much more clear. Make sure you take the time to put the correct support bars in the right place. Each one has holes for different things and the instructions don't tell you which one goes where. Overall though, it took me about 4-5 hours to put it together, it is really sturdy and my kids love it.
Be prepared to figure out how to put it together on your own. The instructions are for a different model and the supplemental instructions are worthless . Had to drill my own holes for the see saw. Strongly consider anchors if larger or multiple children
We just bought this for my daughters 4th birthday. I will start with the assembly. It took 6 hours to put this together (3 of us) The Directions are for a previous model and instead of making new directions it just tells you to ignore some steps. They were a little confusing, and I wish they where a little clearer. Putting the legs on was difficult , and took quite some time. The sandbox was a let down it is the only reason we chose this over other models, all it is, is 4 peices of wood, no bottom no top. But we did a tarp lining and used a staple gun then we used 250 pounds of sand (3 buck per 50 pound bag at home depot) and we will be getting a peice of plywood to make a top. Other than it being a pain to put together, It is a great product and very well worth what we paid ($199). I would still recommend this to a friend, but ONLY if you have patience and a brain ;) the 6 hours spent putting this together will get thousands of hours of play really soon :)
We started putting the swingset together and didn't realize that in the very bottom of the box is another slip of paper that's says that the main directions are wrong on the first 2 step and the parts aren't all the same.... CAUSED SOME MAJOR CONFUSION. Once we found that things got a little better. Once we final got it all together it looks very nice but a bigggg headache getting there. My daughter loves it.
at first glance it seems to be missing major parts, but after sorting the instructions they were all there. Took my husband and father in-law a few hours of frustration but the kids do enjoy it. It was a pain to assemble but you get what you pay for i guess!
I bought this swing for my 6 yr. old and 2 yr. old. They like it. It has its own sandbox with it so thats great. The only problem I have with it is it didn't have the steps for the slide with it. It was a good thing I had their old slide. Other than that It is a great swingset.
I really liked everything I saw on the site about this swing set...and then I picked it up and opened the box. It comes with a "revised" list of parts. The fourth arch had been taken out and the trapeze had been taken out too. It stinks that the sandbox does not come with a bottom or cover. Am I supposed to put the sand on the grass? No...I had to buy something to make a bottom and make my own top. Aside from that, I do like the swing set. It would just be nice if I new exactly what I was paying for. The revised set should have cost less.
I bought this for my 2 yr old son over a wooden swing set for the same price because it had more things to do. The directions had been recalled, we were missing parts, and the paint had been chipped on several of the bars. I didnt use the so called sand box with it and instead bought a standing sand box and put it under the canopy. My son loves I, I guess I just seen all of the flaws.
Swingset was bought for my 3 yr old on the day of his party we snuck out to put it together and it was missing alot of major pieces and pretty much ruined the party.
We received the swing that we ordered but the box had been opened. The product had changed and we where not notified. It omitted a top bar and the trapeze. The instructions were for the original swing we ordered so did not go with the one we received. When trying to put together the holes did not match up on the poles.
