I used them as decorations for a backyard party. They were easy to hang up and no unsightly cords!!!
I live in Florida, the sunshine state, and the product claims to stay on for approx. 6-12 hours. In reality they stay on closer to 3-5 hours. However they do work and have received some compliments about them from my neighbors. I live on the 2nd floor and my condo does not have an outside outlet. The convience is good although an overall disapointment. I was going to by more for next season although I am glad I just bought one and I will take the loss.
These were twice the price of other solar lights I've seen. I thought you get what you pay for, these must be good ones Other solar Christmas lights have bad reviews but these say they will stay lit for 8-10 hours! These must be much better...not! After 2 days of bright sun which we are lucky to have the first of December the lights only stayed lit for one hour then the only lights remaining were red and white and they were so dim you couldn't hardly see them and that lasted for another 40 minutes. I am so disappointed! The blinking function is a joke too. They just go off and on for long periods in between...not what I think of for a twinkling blinking Christmas light. It says you have to return this item to "Plum Struck" unused but how would you know they don't work if you don't use them?
The lights are TINY, the strings were flimsy and when I tried to remove them from my window the string was severed and I didn't even pull it that hard. NOT WORTH THE MONEY AT ALL!!!
I wanted to try these lights out before packing them away with next year's decorations. I have had them on the windowsill for over two weeks now and they have yet to light. I reread the directions, tried all kinds of settings on the switch and still no luck. Either I'm doing something wrong; there's not enough sunlight on the East Coast; or they simply don't work. I'll keep you posted.
