I have two of these units in bathrooms at home and have had none of the issues mentioned by other reviewers. With correct installation of the odor barrier oil and a simple cleaning of the basin every other day or so, both of my urinals work beautifully with no stench. Both units get a fair amount of use and the women in the house couldn't be happier! (The seats on the toilets are always down and there are no dribbles anywhere.) One of the best purchases I've ever made!
I have used one these multiple times of the past few years at a local park. I think it works very well, and the reduction in water usage is a win.
I have had this in the restroom of our shop I am replacing it this weekend my mechanics say they cant stand it any longer. I have used enough of the expensive oil I could have built a water treatment plant this stuff is crazy expensive. Stupid idea and stinks within a couple hours of cleaning and putting in new oil. Think about it I have mechanics complaining about it and using the womens restroom instead.
We've had this installed at our small business (8 guys) and it has always been aromatic. We've had a plug-in air freshener to cover up the smell but it still stinks. I would not recommend in a closed room even if there is a ventilation fan.
They have this product in all of the mens rooms at the campus where I work. This product is horrid! I hate any trip to the restroom because the smell may not reach beyond the door, but once inside the nausea begins.
