I bought this stepper to use while sitting at my desk at work. It was easy to put together and easily folds away. Because it has bands instead of a motor, it does not disturb my co-workers. It's perfect if you want to burn a few extra calories but are tied to a desk all day.
I bought this April 2012. It has lasted well. I use it about 3-5 times a week. The resistance hand straps did not last the 5 years, I needed to replace them. But, overall, a very good stepper, with ease of use.
I did not like this one very much. it seemed cheap, and jerky. it makes this weird breaking plastic sound when i use it, but it hasnt broke. It was simple to assemble and simple to use. it doesnt seem to work anything either.
I got it out of the box put it together and as soon as I started to use it the plastic foot pad snapped, and NO I do not weigh that much for it to have snapped on the first use.
