I took this chair to an air show and sat in it for around four hours, and it really sits great for that. I also sit and read in the outdoors in it comfortably. This chair is very sturdy,well constructed, and easy to carry in the bag provided, and looks good too. Much better then the cheap ten dollar chairs. I am glad that I bought two.
I purchased one of these chairs in a Walmart store for my boyfriend who has a fishing boat. Everyone went wild over its comfort....so I had to order another one. The crew have even slept overnight in these chairs. I can't say how they will wear in the salt water/air....but even if we only get a couple of years....it is well worth it. They are great for resting after fighting the big ones and for star gazing.....when the fish aren't biting. They also fold up and store as well as any other fold up chair.
Extremely well-made, sturdy beach chair. It is somewhat heavy though. While it has a bag and strap, don't plan on carrying it long distances. It's sits very slung back. So if you like to sit up more upright, you might consider another chair. If you like slung back, you won't find a better one.
