If you like a dark roast give this one a try. I am fond of dark roast coffees so I tried this one. I think it is a winner. Also like Folgers 1850 Gold Dark Roast.

Delicious, full bodied taste without bitterness. Enjoyed as wake-up coffee in the morning and as an after dinner beverage on occasion.
Luv this rich satin noir ground coffee BUT the price has more than "trippled' for 6-10.3oz containers which are the small ones that were under $24. Can't afford this price no matter how good it is. All I can ask is "WHY"?!!!
Great coffee but hard to find locally. The package arrived with two cans crushed/broken open...
This is great coffee. I can't say it's the best on the market due to there are many good coffees. However I enjoy the taste. I love to drink and drive!!
If you like strong , this is it
I saw this in the grocery store and thought I would give it a try. My boyfriend likes his coffee a bit stronger than I do, so I thought it would meet both our tastes for how we like our coffee. I was pleasantly surprised it had a good flavor without being bitter. We may have found our new coffee without spending lots of money on other well named coffee.
The smoky flavor of Folgers coffee line is still in this brand though it is muted slightly. Still this is not a substitute for Folgers Simply Gourmet line of coffee which Smuckers cancelled.
I coughed up some extra bucks to try one each of the Rich Satin, True Dark, and Smokey Midnight Folgers Noir blends, hoping for something new and fresh to brighten my morning, since they've gotten some good reviews. But, nope, not impressed. If I use an extra scoop, they have some more flavor, but nothing special. Certainly not special enough to warrant the extra cost. Has that "too boring Starbucks blends" flavor. Any of you real coffee drinkers out there will know what I mean ;) I'll just stick to my Folgers Black Silk for now. I give it two stars for "Not horrible, but I regret my purchase".
