Works really well and fits anywhere on the counter. Easy to figure out and operate and if you've never used one, the instructions are easy to understand. The easy-out trough for excess liquids makes cleaning simple as well. We even blanched and froze summer squash. Really handy product.
I love my new Food Saver! It's perfect compact size fits into my kitchen so well. I have learned how to operate it and it's just the best appliance ever!
Ordered this to help repackage some of our Sam's hauls. Works great on the dryer items like ground beef %26 sausage, but tends to have some hang ups on things like diced onion %26 bell pepper even after being toweled off to absorb moisture. Overall a great buy though!
It's very compact so doesn't really need a lot of space (you may just take it out from your shelf only when you really need it). And, I only need to store small amount items because I live by myself. So, if your purpose is similar as mine, this would be good choice. Vacuum and sealing work very well too.

I have a family of 5 and be conscientious on how I store or freeze our food very important. The food sealer has helped me be able to seal my food per meal type and properly store left overs for freshness. Not to mention this product has made it much easier to meal prep and seal fruit per shakes. The sealer is user friendly, has an intuitive control panel and features a seal & vacuum indicator light, accessory port, lock latch, upper and lower gasket, an extra wide sealing strip and removable dripping tray. It also comes with a generous amount of seal bags. Overall, the product proves to be an extremely helpful and useful piece of kitchen equipment and definitely something every food enthusiast should own. I highly recommend this product.

My food saver vacuum seals the food perfectly. I have not had any problems with freezer burn even with items that have been in the freezer for a month. It is also compact enough to keep on your counter top. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered my foodsaver space saving product about two weeks ago. Once received I was t sure how I would like this. But I was having such a hard time wrapping and sealing opened food. This is very easy to use and space saving Sufficient. I truly am grateful for this product.
I bought the recommended handheld attachment through the link on the page for this machine. The instructions tell you to "pry the plug out of the machine with a butter knife" It doesn't come out. Using different tools remove the plug, the plug only comes out in pieces. And the surface around the hole becomes marred and scratched. The instructions show the hose only going into the machine. The hose does not come off the green plug/clip. The green plug/clip is too small for the hole. * Now I have a machine that doesn't work, is scratched up, and a handheld device for who knows what product.
I bought this a week ago after my last food saver broke. I emailed the company and asked for help, but I now know these are disposable machines. The counter top one lets air back in when sealing. It would be cheaper and easier to use a ziplock bag. I could at least then press out most of the air. So disappointed. Looking for other brands that last longer.
