This was recommended by my doctor because I was having trouble getting to sleep and sleeping through the night. I can take it as often as I need with no worry. I did not want to take a prescription "sleep aid." I wake at my regular time with no drug hangover or "fuzziness."
I've always been unsure about using sleep aid medicine. I always had a bad experience. But this product was different, I didn't feel the same symptoms I usually do from other brands. It eases me into a good night sleep and felt well rested the next day. I do like that it's a natural sleep aid.
This is a really great product it works pretty fast, I love that I can sleep the whole night and I wake up feeling refreshed, I love that this product is different then the ones I tryed in the past cuz I don't wake up feeling groggy or weird , I wake up feeling normal
I normally use a product called "Sleep Essentials" from Swanson vitamins, or 10mg melatonin. They work pretty well in making me feel like I slept. Force Factor was a little different in that I immediately felt like I was falling asleep after I took it. No more tossing and turning for 1/2 hour to an hour. The only suggestion I have is to get a full 8 hours sleep when you take it. I am horrible about going to bed late and only getting 6 hours of sleep, so after taking these pills, when my alarm went off, I did not want to get up. I wanted to sleep longer. Now if only they had a headache medicine that worked as well!
This product works great! It helps me fall asleep and I haven't woken up at night so far. I do think it smells bad and I hate the size of the pills but it's definitely worth it!! I wake up easily and don't feel groggy or tired. I would 100% recommend it!!
I have OCD and can't get my mind to hush long enough to fall asleep. I've taken numerous sleep aid and supplements over the years. Most give me that weird "hangover " type feeling where I can barely get out of bed the next morning, and then when I do I'm plagued with heavy eyes, sinus problems, headaches and sometimes nausea. I experienced no side effects when taking this product, even when taken on work nights where I couldn't fit in 7-8 hours of sleep. However, the smell is potent and It's doesn't kick in right away. It took me about 30 minutes to an hour before I felt like I was truly ready to sleep. Once I was asleep though, I stayed asleep. TLDR; If you're looking for something fast-acting and strong, this isn't for you. If you're new to sleep aids or are weary of side-effects, this one is good to try.
I tried this out hoping it would help me since I struggle to stay asleep. I did notice when taking this I fell asleep much quicker and easier than when I don't. I did feel like it wore off and I wouldn't stay asleep however it also meant I didn't wake up groggy and miserable. So it wearing off isn't a bad thing. My only complaint is the pills are rather large and kind of smell. All in all it works though.
I tried Somnapure from mid December until mid January. It usually takes me a while to fall asleep at night and I don't often wake up feeling refreshed. After taking Somnapure nearly every night, I didn't notice a difference. The pills are a little on the large side and you are supposed to take two each evening. They have a little bit of an unpleasant taste, but not awful. This sleep aid may be great, it just didn't seem to work for me.
Somnapure works as a sleep aid if taken about 2 hours before wanting to sleep. It takes this long because the amount of melatonin is 1.5 mg. There are other ingredients such as calcium, Valerian, Lemon Balm, Theanine, Hops, Chamomile, and Passion Flower, but Melatonin is the active ingredient. The taste is like most large pills, unpleasant with an aftertaste. Because of this I would take it with a flavored liquid. I would recommend any melatonin gummies over this product. The gummies have better taste and most are 3 -5 mg of melatonin per gummy. Those will help you sleep in about 1 hour.
I normally take melatonin for sleep aid. I was excited to try something new .. I took the product at 9:45pm, but about 10:10 I felt a little off, kinda fuzzy. I did fall asleep right after and slept through the night, I did have some weird dreams. I woke up and felt a little groggy.. not as I do with melatonin. I tried these 2 night in a row and the second night was very similar to the first .
