The range came well packaged in a wooden box with styrofoam underneath and a dust cover. There was no cosmetic damage from delivery. The gas stove works great. Haven't had a change to get use out of the oven yet but so far very happy with the quality for the price.
I have the stove and the refrigerator, and I'm very happy I purchased them.
After researching the oven online, the family decided to purchase this oven. Once the stove is installed. we enjoyed the oven however, after the oven was installed we noticed a huge dent on the bottom part of the oven this week, prior to installation. However now working on getting the bottom panel of the oven replaced.
I love the stove and it works well. Before purchasing I called to verify that the fridge, stove, and dishwasher would all have the same finish if purchased in black. I was told they would have the same finish even though they are from different collections. Upon delivery they are different finishes. I love the appliance but I would have planned differently had I known the finishes were not the same.
When we first received the range and hooked it up, the temperature for the oven was 100 degrees off. We set it for 350 and it never went above 250. I looked up on YouTube to see if there was an adjustment for the thermostat and there was. We followed that procedure and the temperature was corrected. It would be nice if this was in the owners manual. The knobs on the front get very hot when the oven is on. Other than that, the stove top and oven seem to work very well and I am happy with the overall appearance of the range.
Simmer burners will ignite continuously no matter what setting. They are suppose to ignite when on high, however even on mid - low heat they continue to click and ignite. quite annoying. Burners also have trouble lighting occasionally. I made sure to have the appropriate gas line, gas valve and flexible gas hose installed for the total BTU's. Not sure if this is a safety feature or what, Forno has not returned my inquiry so I am posting on here.
I am working on getting gas range registered because it has just been installed and one half of the burner in the oven is not lighting, causing very strong gas in the home.
I just purchased the stove, and I am having issues, so I came online to make sure my range was registered for warranty work, and I'm being asked to provide a review in order to complete my registration process. For that reason I am giving 2 stars. We'll see how well the support and repair process goes.
I got my oven a little a year ago. I loved it up until about 2 months ago when the tow middle burner on top quit working and then a few days ago the oven went out. I am super disappointed. Appliances are too expensive to last only a year or 2
New range: the oven is not set at the correct temperature-there are no instructions how to adjust it, the right front burner does not light or come on, the igniter clicks and gas flows but the burner does not come on. The manual that came with the range is very lacking in information.
