I bought these for just under $5.00 each. An excellent price, considering most of the sporting good stores sell them for $8.00 and up. I needed $10, so the cost difference was substantial. I was also able to pick them up at a local walmart and didn't have to wait for shipping. Good quality too.
This is the classic playground ball, great for all different types of games. Best for outside due to the bounce factor. Perfect for all ages- my kids love it. Comes in four different colors, so they're sure to find a color they like. Got two of these playground balls – green for my nephew (8 years old) and purple for my niece (5 years old). They both love them. First thing they noticed were the bright colors. This also helps to keep track of them. The balls bounce well. Just the right size. The textured surface allowed for a better hold – especially for small hands. Balls were already inflated. Have had the balls for over a week with constant play each day. Balls haven't lost any air as far as I can tell. They can be inflated if needed. Good product. Would definitely buy again. I ordered two 4-square sports balls and they came quickly and are just what I expected and wanted and the price was right!!!
Just like I remember from 25 years ago in Elementary school. I got this for my toddlers, but it's definitely more durable, and meant for the rugged play of school-aged children. Solid rubber material, perfect for black top four square and hand ball, and even kickball on the grass. The ball comes inflated, and is super bouncy. Has more weight to it than the rubber ball found at the grocery store, but definitely not heavy. There are texture lines on the surface of the ball to allow for better grip. My little ones like to try to dribble it with both their hands and with their feet – I'm looking forward to the hand/eye coordination it will encourage. Regular rubber playground ball like the ones we used to use for playground kickball, dodgeball, nation ball, four squares, etc. Lightly texturized with raised alternating lines for better gripping – the ball is not entirely smooth. When I was picking the ball, I noticed it came in the colors red, purple and green. Comes with a large “4 SQUARE” directly on the ball. Comes inflated; does not appear to leak air. Detracted 1 star because there is a strong rubber smell with the ball. I'm susceptible to strong smells so noticed it in the car. It does fade over time though. This is the classic schoolyard ball that brings back all your childhood memories of kickball, dodgeball, and four square at recess. Same rubber quality we grew up with and in a selection of bold colors so you can ensure you can buy your child's favorite. The only down side of this ball is the fact that it has a strong runner smell. You probably wouldn't notice it much during outdoor play but if the intent is using it inside, the smell could be a bit bothersome to those who are sensitive to strong smells. This ball did not come inflated though it was supposed to. You will need a needle and a pump-- unless you get lucky and get one that is actually inflated.
So I got this for my son for his birthday. The picture shows a blue ball and no where does it say colors may vary, or I would have specified blue. They sent me purple.
I ordered this for my 6 year old boy and there was no mention that you would get a different color than the red one shown. He was pretty disappointed when he opened the box and it was pastel pink. Other than that it's good.
