This exercise bike is truly a professional grade. We bought it because it felt (at Costco) it was identical in all respects to the $3,500 one at our mini gym. I've had it for years and love it. I never use the on-board fan or I'd have to say this bike was less than perfect. I use an external fan. Now remember, that this unit is as good as a professional unit.
I haven't had this exercise bike for very long, but so far it is just what I expected. However it was delivered with a big hole in the side of the box, and one broken part that was in the area of the damaged to the box. It does take two people about one hour to assemble, but the instructions were easy to follow.
Site to store delivery was faster than promised. Assembly went smoothly and was relatively simple.The unit is heavy and you may require assistance moving and unpacking.The 335R is easy to mount, pedals very smoothly, and has a wide range of exercise options. My only complaint is the seat is smaller than I expected.Note, the serial number,which you need for registration,is hidden underneath the bottom rail.The assembly instructions should advise you to get this number before you assemble the machine.
In the middle of pedaling the resistance slips and there is none. I have to completely stop pedaling to get the resistance back. The heart monitor doesn't work and neither does a lot of the programs that I thought were supposed to come on the machine. In order to get the trainings I have to purchase ifit which is additional money that I didn't expect to have to spend. I am able to at least set it for time and calorie goals which is a plus but I wonder how accurate is it if I don't have to add my weight and my pulse can't be taken.
Ordered online, box was in good shape . Fly wheel was broken, hard to move. Two person job, Not easy to put together or return to a local store.very heavy in weight. I had contact the company that made the bike and they wanted me to install parts and fix it my self.
Broken side fender. Broken plate behind monitor. Left pulse meter did not work at all. Right pulse meter was inaccurate every time by a lot. Found out to use most of the features you need to buy a $99 Ifit module. Then pay $99 annually to keep a subscription to ifit to keep using the module. Then pay for what ever program workouts you want through ifit for $40 and up. Fan speed would never go faster than low speed. High speed fan did not work. Then there is an extra hidden wire to attach a heart monitor device which you also have to pay for.
The box the product came in looked like it had been mishandled at every opportunity. As such, I don't know if I blame the manufacturer or Walmart's shipping. The pedals could barely be moved and when they did there was a very loud noise coming from the bike. The only part of this purchase that was good was when customer service gave me a refund without (too) much consternation.
I bought this bike to replace a much lesser type of recumbent bike. The seat is VERY uncomfortable, it is hard to even sit on because the back pushes you forward, and the seat is hard. I have been very busy, but as soon as I can I am going to see if this can be returned and refunded. I even wondered if we had put it together wrong, but everyone who sees it says it is right. They also agree that it is uncomfortable.
