Works as advertised. I repaired a worn spot on my hiking boots and then did an eleven mile mountain hike the next day. It stayed on and wore well.
I've used Free Sole for over twenty years. My primary use is to rebuild the heels of my shoes. It also can be used for other things. I repaired an ice cube tray that had a crack in it with Free Sole. And a couple of places on my former running shoes, now my walking shoes, where the toe mesh was separating from the solid part of the shoe, keeps my shoe together.
It's been a couple week since the repair and the repairs has held just fine.
Glued work boot soles back on. Worked very well. Still intact after 1 month.
I made a pair of slippers and needed to glue them to the bottoms of a pair of flip flops. This worked great. I'm wearing them now and so far they are holding up great.
Works great! The sole of my boot was coming apart. I used this and I have had no problems since. You do not need alot to get the job done. Wish I know about this mon the ago..could have saved a couple pairs of shoes!!
Perfect for wide range of boot repairs soles, seams and toes. Wears like iron but gives like original sole material. Follow instructions and go slow using multiple layers versus thick layups.
This is the best long lasting shoe repair glue around, I put dabs on the bottom of my leather house slippers, keeps you from sliding and keeps the bottom from wearing out.
Not happy with the packaging off the bat. Not like pictured. It came on a plain cardboard card... no name...no nothing. Appears to be junk, but have not used it yet, so really can not tell if it is as good as it claims. Will write another review later.
The material is excellent for repairing shoes, or rebuilding worn spots. I've been using it for many years. It's become increasingly difficult, if not ipossible to buy it in brick and mortar stores. Online at Walmart, it's advertised as Freesole. However the packages and tubes I received say "Aquasole". The black cap and tubes suggest the goo is black, not clear, which is what I needed. I planned to send it back for a refund. But I opened one tube, and found it was clear, and worked as good or better than the stuff from years earlier.
