I somehow lost mine and was happy to find this.
Works well with larger lances, prefer Delica device.
Does not work. Regardless of setting, Lancet never comes above landing device CAP, never comes in contact with skin or pierce vein.
This is the worst device I have used. It never comes into contact with the finger. Have to push it down manually then put the cap back on and even then it still only works 10% of the time. So frustrating. Will try it 20 times in a row before it finally works.
It never comes in contact with your finger no matter what you set it on. Had to take the top off and then shot it in my finger. Taking it back today.
The lancing device is relatively painless, but the cap *really* sucks. It is difficult to remove the snap-off cap after lancing, and I have already slashed my thumb with the exposed lancet when removing the cap. It created a quarter inch bleeding gash that is slow to heal. A twist off cap would be a great safety improvement.
