I've been purchasing these all year. I slice a two to three inch slice and dice it to add to meals like Sheppard's Pie, soups, eggs with boil butternut grated zucchini chopped meat and topped with cheese. One butternut squash lasted me from March 25th to April 12th. I finished it off today. The more veggies you can incorporate into your daily meals your gut will thank you for it.
I love squash but how do I indicate I want a small one? The one you sent is almost 3 pounds!
There is a big rotten place with a piece gouged out on the butternut squash. On the grapes, they charged me for 2.9 lbs and I weighed them and there is only 2 lbs exactly.
They are missing product in my order, they need better driver more qualified and responsable for to do the delivery. I pay for my membership and I was waiting my order and that was incomplete
i ordered butternut squash and recieved spaghetti squash. although spaghetti squash is more expensive, and i was charged the butternut price. i needed butternut for the recipe this weekend. not sure how they were confused, as they look totally different
I was so excited to see how large these squash were. Had ordered 2 and couldn't wait to roast them. That excitement faded into disappointment. There was little to no flavor. I couldn't salvage it and had to throw them out. $8 down the drain! 👎
shopper does not know difference between squashes! beware “bagless” delivery
They gave me a yellow squash, not a butternut squash, ruining the whole reason for the convenience of a pick-up order as we now have to go back to the store.
My grocery pickup order yesterday contained 2 butternut squash. One was perfect. The other was shriveled and starting to rot. I did not know this until I got home, a 50 minute drive away. Quality control of the produce in stock seems to be lacking. It's a little scary to think that a shopper thought this squash was acceptable and put it in a pickup customer's bag instead of the garbage. It's not cost or time effective for me to drive almost 2 hours round trip to return the squash and it defeats the purpose of a grocery pickup to have to find a place to park, go in to the store, and stand in line for a refund. In all fairness, this does not happen often but something this obvious shouldn't happen at all. Hope the person who brings out my groceries on my next pickup isn't in a hurry because I'll be checking all my produce before accepting it.
This squash had a disruption in its skin and looked rotten in that area. I wouldn’t have selected this particular squash from the counter.
