What I ordered and what I got were two completely opposite things. The celery wasn’t even close to what is shown online. The center of both celery “hearts” was full of short stalks that were full of leaves at the top. I would prefer being told that my order couldn’t be filled instead of receiving trash.
The celery was scrawny, seems like any time I get produce, they pick the produce that no one else would pick. Glasses are for size reference...
this is the second time that the celery that I ordered in the back was rotten I was able to save a little bit but not worth the money that I paid for it and I don't want to be reimbursed it wasn't worth the money I paid for it to begin with so your produce people need to be more observant on what is being sold.
The celery hearts I received were brown and wilted. Clearly they had been on the shelf for quite some time. I never would have chosen this bunch of celery for myself and I'm very disappointed it was delivered to me. I guess that's one of the chances you take when you have produce delivered. I'm so disappointed because I will not be able to use the celery and will end up driving to the store to buy more.
Most pathetic looking celery ever. Another bunch could fit in this bag. Definitely not worth $2.49. All marked up stalks, very dry. It would be nice if the employees that pick our items look at them to see if they’re in good shape. The only downfall to the delivery option.
I'm rewriting this because I don't know what the first one sent, sorry if you already got one Just say, I'm disappointed in the celery is an understatement. It's already turning yellow with brown spots that are bad. The pictures don't show the celery as bad as it is. I paid two dollars and some odd cents for it, it's not worth a return trip for me to town as it's quite a ways. But I won't buy produce from curbside anymore.
The Celery Hearts were split and many were rotten. My yeild after cleaning the veggies was slightly more than 1/2 the package! The rest was not edible. I buy Celery Hearts for the quality they have over regular stalks of celery. I've noticed a decline in quality in recent orders of celery hearts, and was willing to accept some loss, but this package was so damaged, darkened and some rot that I felt it necessary to inform you that I am very unsatisfied with this purchase and request you follow up with your supplier, as they have become quite sloppy. Note the photos I have included, almost half of the yeild was waste.
this item is inedible the part that isn't Brown is so limp and rubbery it should have been thrown out days ago. this is the second time this has happened. if you could teach your people picking orders to look at the produce before they pick it up it would be really helpful. if it's not in a can or a bottle you can't really order it and have your Pickers put it in a basket for you.
I received a bag of celery with the bottom of the bag opened and half of the contents missing. The remaining celery in the bag was badly bruised. I would rather receive an explanation that the order could not be filled than to receive damaged, missing, and unedible product for which I paid $2.46. Returning it is possible, but not worth my time to go into the store and wait at the customer service counter as required. I used to think ordering groceries from Walmart was great, but this experience has lowered my opinion.
The celery hearts, on right, looked old and pale, not bright celery green (see photo for comparison).
