I usually purchase collard greens in the bunch to clean and cut them up myself, but I wanted some and they only had these available, so I tried them. I'm a pretty good southern cook and these came out tasting pretty good. Also, I always pick through and wash them several times myself, yes it's time consuming, but I do it. I would suggest everyone else to do the same thing, because you never know what you might find in them. Collard green stems does have a variety of nutrients in them, but I don't care for too many in my greens. Some said the greens are bitter and tough. I usually put a little sugar in my collard greens to cut the bitterness and bacon grease to help tenderize them.
Very small chops. Too many stems. Turns more soup like not preferred by those looking to get fresh green effect. I may as well just used the canned glory greens with my own seasoning instead
My greens bag was opened when I got them home . My other two items are fine. Would like a refund .
These bags are not “ready to enjoy”. They are full of stems which will ultimately make your dish bitter if you leave them in. Pics attached to show how many stems were in 3 bags smh You may as well purchase collard leaves and remove the stems yourself, it would be much more cost efficient!
lately, the produce, whether frozen, refrigerated, etc, has been poor quality.
I do not eat collard greens, nor does anyone in my family. Also the use date on the package is Nov. 1 -- one day from today. I don't know who filled my order but this is not the first time this has happened. Also I ordered bananas. The ones I received are ready to eat NOW. Brown spots on them. I am disgusted. I have to pay for these items????????????????????
The label on the greens say “Best If Used by Nov 20, 2023” and today is 11/18/2023. Thanksgiving isn't until 11/23/23.
So for my second order from W , I had to have 3 items refunded, 3 items were not available. This was a 25 piece order. Basic stuff. I think the workers are being pushed too hard, for that bottom line. I blame management and upper management. Im glad this is the free trial period....
I noticed anytime I use the app the crew that's pulling the food always give out expired or expiring in the next 2 days. I have said something before but not getting better.(I would no longer shop here at this Walmart)
I purchased 2 bags of collard greens. There so many chunks of stems had to throw away 1/3 of collards. I spent at least 45 minutes removing stems so that my family could at least enjoy it. Extremely disappointed and Walmart needs to bring back Old Glory!!
