This is the most beautiful Ginger root I have ever seen! Fresh, plump, flawless. Huge rhizomes that will require very little prep work, and I use a LOT of ginger, so that means a lot to me. Good Job!!
I see 3 different prices for ginger. Which one is right? The one I picked is $0.97 per lb. when ordering online. It also says 0.25 per lb but that just seems to cheep (must be for the finger size pieces) I wanted 2 lbs. but they charged me over $8.00 for these 2 lbs. I pay $1.29 at the Asian food store so I thought this would save me a trip sense I added it to my food order. What is this pricing system all about? Why do these food giants LIE about price? They can come and pick it up now because I'm going to the Asian food store and pay the reasonable $1.29 per. lb.
I buy Ginger Root every month. This is the first time I have ever seen such a bad picking of products as this. First, I asked for a pound, this enclosed image is what I got. This, I assure you is not a pound. It was dried on the ends, with mold spots. I would rather not have this product. I know the store employees pick the product, could they not see what kind of shape this was in or did they just choose it because it was on the list. I think the pickers of these delivery orders all need a refresher course on how to choose the best product for their customer. This goes for what date is on the product, packages that are not sealed correctly, how does the produce look, withered or moldy, squishy or firm. Fresh or rotten. If Walmart wants to be the best they can be, then they need to train their employees better.
i received my ginger root and it's rotten on one side. Gross!! like what human would actually pick that up and place it in the cart to be delivered to someone? I would like my money back.Wow Walmart you really have to be careful who you hire, this is ridiculous and sad!
I buy ginger for health reasons to brew it with my tea but lately several times (through online shopping) I have been receiving moldy ginger and if anyone uses it, which not only does not make you healthy but very dengrous for body!
Where are the other pieces of my so-called fresh ginger root. I ordered 3lbs and only received one small dried up piece. Why, oh why, can't they get the order right. If that was all the ginger root that was left, they should have kept that one piece. About $3.50 for this? Never again.
The fresh ginger is not good, at leadt what was picked for me from my Walmart delivery. every single piece was overly rotten and gone to root stringy. You can't return rotten ginger from your products so I lost my money on that deal. Terrible. they don't pick out good produce at all. They just grab some and go on. I shouldn't buy that kind of produce in a delivery.
These ginger are so old they are starting to dry, I will have to try and use all in a few days before they will be no good. I bought this much to last me a week, but they will only last a few days.
i asked for 1lb of ginger. this app shows that i was given .5 lbs. dug out my scale and it reads 2.95 oz. also not a nice peice. would have much rather been told the item was unavailable i wonder how many people get robbed for $1 im sure it adds up.
There is no option on how many pounds is needed. This is the 5th time I ordered ginger (this time is stated $.90 per pound) and when I pick up my groceries, it was a pound and a half at $4.00 . I was unexpected to pay over four dollars for Ginger that cost $0.90 per pound.
