Kale had gone bad. Has mold in package.
Ordered groceries through Walmart delivery. I have been using it for over a year now and lately we've been having issues with items that the Walmart employees are choosing. They are either damaged, expired, rotten, wrong brand or opened. Please be mindful when shopping. Pics are straight from the bag.
I chose the product pictured in the description as a backup item for the Rainbow Kale I normally use. I received the product I uploaded a picture of twice instead. This Ratto Bros. Brand is completely inedible. I routinely remove the stems, massage the leaves in olive oil and let it rest a few hours to soften. This will never happen. A waste of time and olive oil.
The bag is bad on this kale. Most of the time the bags are already opened along the seal in the store. The last one I bought a few days ago was really bad. I was making a smoothie and the bag was so bad that plastic from it crumbled into my smoothie. I didn't know it until I started gagging it up and took a closer look. It looked like kale but it was the plastic picture of kale from the bag. The bag is breaking in pieces. I hope I didn't ingest too much plastic.
Our bag of kale showed up with a lot of moisture inside and already kale is turning brown.
More than half of the bag was withered brown and unusable will never purchase again unless I'm in person very disappointed and considering getting a refund

Delivered July 21, 2023 and expired July 12, 2023.
Item had an expiry date of 12/26/23 which was the same date as the delivery date. Disappointed that I am being sent items that Walmart is trying to get rid off. This is note the kind of service I'm expecting. Are you trying to tell customers we would rather go into the store than getting expired items? Come on…Walmart you can do better than this.
