Finally! I know I’m early in the season but I start buying watermelons as soon as the stores sell them. I bought one at another store and it was dry as bones. This one from WMart costed half the price and was as sweet as it gets
When I did my online order, I had 2 options as far as size. I chose the ootiin that was $4 more and still rcv'd a personal size my hand could fir around it. It's not what I expected for the price.I will be returning it because 3ppl want some of this melon that is visibly for one. .My shopper didn't do good on this item. Not feasible for $9.
watermelon is too small. i did not order mini watermelon. i spoke with driver about size he just ignored me and handed me his phone to sign. i knew it was too small when i saw it in a grocery bag
Could hardly cut thru it with my big sharp knife that i use to cut my watermelons. It was so rotten that it was nasty once I was able to cut it in half. No way anyone could eat it. Was it frozen first???
I’ve been receiving some bad watermelons from those who choose them for my Walmart pickup. This one is completely rotten. Really gross. I’m leaving this review however, because I didn’t receive my full refund for the watermelon on the online return. Why??
The watermelon was bruised when I cut it, it was very unripe with a bad taste and it was not good to eat any part of the watermelon. Very bad decision.
We are vegans and vegetarians in my home and purchase a huge amount of produce for delivery- which can be pretty pricey- and this, regularly, is what we have been receiving from our local Walmart store. Rotted, expired, slimy disgusting produce. Not to mention the groceries are unbagged and thrown all over the porch I share with another resident. I have contacted both the local Walmart, reached out in chat and called customer service numerous times. I am often told to return the item to the store for a refund, which can be difficult as I do not have a car and a cab or Uber both ways cost far more than what needs to be refunded. This is the order I received about one hour ago and the condition the two watermelons were in. I feel it is time I start utilizing another grocery delivery service.
Watermelon has a soft spot that was rotten and not sure how this was missed it was ten inches in diameter and brown and very soft… mushrooms were brown with spots .. slimy and basically unusable for decent meals… seems like when i get produce from on line ordering i always seem to get the stuff that looks like they took it from the pull bin… not good enough for the floor but ok for online orders that can’t be seen till i arrive home…i have suffered with bad choices in selecting produce for my order before also… but this time that’s over twenty dollars waste right off the bat from a 235.00 order… dissatisfied with this yet again
Tastes awful and the price I paid unexceptionable don’t let the looks fool you how can I do a return on a watermelon can’t be done it’s cut up to put in fridge ….
This is not as described at all. You are assuming to get a normal size watermelon for the price. This is a personal size watermelon. Ridiculous to pay this much for such a small watermelon.
