My Walmart orders always arrive with perfect produce, even my "green bananas"! I buy an 8 oz. package of white mushrooms every week and they arrive fresh and snow-white! I make my favorite fresh spinach salad with raw white mushrooms with bacon and pristine raw mushrooms, which have to be fresh and white. Even if I skip a salad and don't get to the mushrooms used raw in the first few days, I saute them up for other recipes and toss them in the freezer. If I don't feel any inspiration for the sauteed mushrooms, they get sauteed and go into the freezer for future Italian dishes! NO MUSHROOMS ever get wasted in my house! My favorite use for sauteed mushrooms is HOME-MADE Pizza! OK, and Beef Stroganoff, too! Homemade Salsbury steak uses up onions, celery in the patties, and mushrooms in the dark brown gravy. Don't forget Shepherd's Pie! ALWAYS SO GOOD!
The time, the “fresh” mushrooms were NOT as fresh looking (spotty discolored) as the ones were ordered 2,weeks ago. In fact, the few left in the fridge from the previous order still look better than the ones just delivered. Photo shows “older” mushrooms on the far right; the 2 containers on the left were just delivered with the plastic wrapping removed. Still useable %26 edible so not returning.
Bruised and already turning brown and grey. Sticky. Off smell. Container is wet. Plastic top was torn open in the corner
This is the third time you have sent me rotten mushrooms. Also the container was half full. You also sent me a tiny baby cauliflower for the third time. I will not order these items anymore. I will buy them elsewhere. Sending produce that has already started to turn will lose my business.
The package that was given to us was partially rotten and not desirable. It will have to go in the trash.
The package was open and the mushrooms on the top were yellowed and brown looking. I requested 1% milk and got whole milk!
Mushroom's in 2 of the boxes are spoiled. Need refund. Kindly suggest the employees, Whoever is picking the vegies make sure to mention the item as unavailable if they are spoiled. Do not pick the spoiled or damaged items and charge us. Doing this, we will not need to ask for refund. It will save everyone's time and effort.
I don’t know why I continue to order these. They are always starting to turn brown when they get here and most are barely edible within three days. Can’t the shoppers look at what they are picking up and consider whether they would pick the same items out for themselves? Most of what I receive is fine, but this happens a bit too often with produce. Do they feel rushed when they are shopping?
As you can see the mushrooms are slimy and disgusting. Smelled them before I could even try to open them. Asked for a refund at the time it was received; it's been 20 minutes since they were left at my house and I don't have time to go back to the store which is why I had the food delivered.
i want a refund on the produce. the mushrooms are clearly rotten. unusable. I know yall want to move inventory. But have some sense. who wants rotten vegetables?
