The Zucchini I received did not appear fresh - Not sure if the WalMart "picker" was rushed (or) if all the zucchini in the store was just old. As one can tell from the attached photo, quite shriveled up / mushy. In the past, the zucchini I have purchased (via curbside pickup) had always been fresh.
I asked for 2 cucumbers but was given zucchini squash I asked for lean ground turkey and was given white ground turkey that was extremely tuff when I made Salisbury steak🤦🏾♀️
This was a delivery order, where the zucchini was soft and rotten w/several sunken and damaged areas, some growing visible white spots of fuzzy fungus/mold. I don't understand why the Walmart shopper/picker would select this obvious rotten item.
these were the size of a large pickle and not in great shape. completely unusable. went to a local grocery store to get them and from the photo, you can see the difference. the big one is from the local store.
I asked for 3 zucchini and received 3 of the smallest zucchini I've seen. It seems like they choose the 3 smallest zucchini they could find. I need these for zucchini bread. Now I will have to go to another store to purchase more zucchini to be able to make the loafs of zucchini bread. I took the picture in front of the clearlax for a size comparison. I am extremely disappointed.
My squash looked like it was dropped on the floor three of the squash were whole. One of the squash was broken in half and looked dirty. This is unacceptable. They usually do a better job than this.
you guys gave me the smallest zucchini known to man. would've been happier without it. lesson learned! can't buy produce curbside pickup. can't count on a bunch of teenage workers to give me a good zucchini i suppose. won't happen again. also for reference, i have small hands.
I rely on what the store pickers choose and this time they did not select good zucchinis. I thankfully ordered 2 because they're so tiny that together they might make one small zucchini. I was charged .77 cents (for the two in total) and they're $1.52/Lb so I got 1/2 lb which means that each one was about 4 ounces each. They're old too- you can tell by the wrinkled skin. They're not fresh, that's for sure. That's why this got one star. I was hoping to make a stuffing-squash casserole for Thanksgiving. That's not happening.
It never fails whoever's doing the shopping on these Delivery orders whenever I order zucchini whoever the shopper is picking the smallest most beat up or the oldest zucchini in the pile. I guarantee if I drove down there now there'd be plenty of big ones. The one picked out isn't even enough for what I needed it for.
I didn't get a zucchini instead they replaced it with an ugly squash that is looks like someone took a bite out of and they didn't ask me about an exchange
