I ordered a delivery order and these beans were a substitution for something on my list. Ever since then I have been thinking about these beans almost daily because they are just that good.
I really enjoyed the flavor of these beans along with the nice size chunks of brisket. I really hope this item becomes available again because it tastes so good.
These beans are sweet, savory, tender with a tiny hint of spiciness. The flavor is awesome! I eat them with cut up hot dogs over rice and it is like total comfort food! You get a good bit in the container too. I'm always mad when they're finished.
I have purchased these beans several times, probably 5. This last container has soooo much black pepper/spice that you would think it has jalapeño in it. They have always had some spice, but this time it is leaving a burning sensation on my tongue and I usually like spicy. They also need to actually add some brisket pieces to this recipe. I will still buy one more time to see if it was just a quirk with the pepper/spice.
While I have bought these in the past, this time they were not what they said they were. There was absolutely not brisket in the beans. Quality control didn't do there job.
There wasn't a plastic sealed cover over the beans when I received them and half had spilled out into the bag
My purchase was for 6 32oz size of the original baked beans from the Deli. I received a notification that the stock was low and to choose a substitute; which I did. I chose the BBQ beans with brisket. Complaint %231) The original baked beans appeared to be OLD, not fresh! Complaint %232) the substitute, the beans with the brisket had NO meat in them. And, in one of the 32 oz cartons of the original baked beans, they had a chunk of hard meat in it. WARNING! Go into the store so you can see what you're getting. 👀
This is by far the worst baked beans I have ever tasted. They used bacon bits instead of real bacon which made it almost impossible to eat. The flavor was overwhelmingly of very sweet BBQ sauce and not tasty at all. I will never buy these again and for the price of them they should have been amazing!!
this is the 2nd time that ive ordered these baked beans and the protective film cover was lifted smh
These beans taste mostly of BBQ sauce and the amount of meat is minuscule. The taste is good but it is not worth over 8 dollars considering you could simply add BBQ sauce to canned beans and get the same taste. Very disappointed.
