When I received at the door as he was leaving I took a look at the watermelon and it was full of juice and kind of slushy. Too me it appeared as though the picker didn’t care about customer satisfaction and how it was received. The food wasn’t out after dropping off less than a full minute and brought inside. It could’ve been better.
Received on 10/4 curbside pickup and best by 10/5, it was marked down in price, but I paid full price for something that expires tomorrow. Tastes ok had better.
Watermelon was slimy and inedible on Day 2. What a waste of $9!
I hate to give a bad review because I'm a Walmart associate at another location but the watermelon that they substituted was poor very poor it leaked all over the bag the watermelon itself was mushy you couldn't even eat it and it had a smell like someone left it out and didn't keep it cold or chilled the whole time.
If you initiate a return for a rotten or expired item with Walmart, they will block you from purchasing that item ever again. Now I cannot buy a kale for my rabbit anymore because they sent me rotten kale once and now they won't sell me kale anymore at all because I didn't wanna pay for rotten kale. So, this rotten arrived slimy and expired. The chunks in the bottom were breaking down, and there was white slime on top. I don't know how the shopper could have not noticed that this was rotten.
very disappointed in this 42 ounce watermelon cube package I could smell it before I ever opened it. The watermelon had been in there so long it was fermenting. horrible!
I bought an extra large tub of cut watermelon. I order and just picked up my order. It was half full of water down melon. The stink was very noticeable. I am taking it back but my biggest issue how does Walmart justify in putting that rotten melon into my bag???? Geeez the ones who pull groceries for people have to have some responsibility. I am 70 and hard for me to walk around a store. I depend on them to do the right thing. No way, not a chance they didn't notice this rotten fruit!!!! When I take this crap back I am going to complain to the manager!
I ordered the 42 oz watermelon chunks with a grocery delivery for 7pm on 11/03/22. I received a 16 oz container that expired 11/03/22! Was charged $9 even though there was a big "discount" sticker on the container advertising it for $3.66. So disappointed. It is obviously fraud... or incompetence? I immediately requested a refund online and it was refunded right away. Hope the picture shows up. I can't see pictures in reviews any more for some reason.
Too mushy.. not fresh at all even though expired date was not for another 3 days .. it looked like it been expired.
It test really bad , like the person who picked up for me got the one was on the shelf forever. I'm really upset , such a waist of money I wish I could have my money back.
