I was hesitant about cutting my daughter's nails with a nail clipper since she's a little more alert now (3weeks). I finally ordered the Frida Baby electric nail buffer and I loved it. I filed her nails in less than 5 minutes. Very easy to use and instructions. I love that it comes in its own compartment. I can throw it in my diaper bag. I love it!
This is much easier (and safer) than baby nail clippers that can cut the babies fingers. It is surprisingly quiet so I can do my 3 month olds nails as they sleep! Even works on my 3 year old who loves to do it “by himself.”
I love this for my baby. I didn't have trouble with it like other competitors. I'm so happy with this purchase now I'm not afraid that I might cut my baby with the nail clippers thanks Frida baby
I've used it on my now one month old while he's awake and it works wonders!! I love that it has different size buffers to use as he grows!! Best purchase!!
It makes me so nervous clipping infants nails and I've had 3 of my own. My cousin brought one of these over for our son's first clip and it was a no brainer that we needed one too. It's easy to use and takes away the risk of accidentally clipping any fingers of squirming little ones. With this he just squirms away and plays while we give him little manicures. His older sisters have even started tending to his nails as needed, which is a great way for them to play and bond as he is still very young and they're already in grade school. I dont have to worry about them using this file because it has added safety features built in so you dont misuse the product and harm anyone. We love it! Someone just commented on how they've never seen a baby with zero scratches on their face like our son, and it has to be because of this because he use to scratch himself sometimes but now he never does.
Great product, this will Eliminate the fear of cutting the baby's skin when using scissors or nail clippers. I would Like it to Be rechargeable.
I have a baby who will not sit still long enough for me to clip his nails, and normally will scream and I've had to resort to cutting them in his sleep, which normally wakes him up. I tried this once, and he giggles because it vibrates, and I've even let him hold it, and do it to his own nails! It's very safe, because if you press down too hard on it, it just stops spinning! I've turned it into a little game and now I can file his nails down with ease!
This barely works and you have to hold it just right to do so. Cutting a babies nails are hard enough. This is a bust in my book, not at all worth the money
Ugh. Not good product. I receive done from my registry. Kept shutting off while in use so company sent me another after contacting them (which was nice) however, the brand new one does the same thing. Additionally, I have to work on one nail for a long time to get it shorter due to the very fine buffers included. I understand the buffers are fine bc it's for baby but they're all super fine so takes a while to get nail down. So unfortunately, my review is that this is not a great product
It pauses when it comes in contact with the nail. The light does not shine on the nail to help you see where you are as expected to be Per the product description.
