[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These test strips are simple and easy to use. I don't often consumed alcohol out of worry that it would pass through my breastmilk, however, with these I no longer have to worry about having a glass of wine (or two) depending on when I need to nurse my little one next. The strips only require a few drops of breastmilk to test and the results only take a few minutes to read. The strips are individually packaged which is nice in case you want to take one with you without the box.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fridababy Breastmilk alcohol test strips are a clever and unique way to see if there are any alcohol traces before feeding a baby. Note this should be used only as a backup to completely ensure the milk is clean and should be used hours after, not immediately after drinking. The strips change color (blue) based on the presence of alcohol in milk. If clean, the strip will remain white. So far, the strips have been accurate, remaining white with no detection and faintly blue when there is. In order for the strips to be accurate, they should be kept at room temperature and unopened until actual use. Great to keep on hand when you have even the slightest of doubts about the quality of your milk.

I've been such a fan of their products and these test strips did not disappoint. I'm not a big drinker to begin with, but it gives me great piece of mine on the occasion that I do drink. The instructions are straight forward and you have results in seconds.

I was able to have a few drinks without having to even worry about it, because I had these strips. You simply dip the testing stick into your milk, wait two mins with the strip laying flat, and then color match your color you get on the strip, to the chart. Super easy with clear and fast results.

It helped save from dumping good breast milk after I had a few drinks when I went out for a little me time! I was always concerned with having a few drinks and pumping breast milk and just wasting it. But now I can test it to see if it is good to keep or if I need to dump!

I had two glass of wine about 24 hrs ago and to make sure its not in my milk I tested it. This test gave me the peace of mind I needed.

I usually wait and pump a few times before I continue to breast feed but now I will know for sure when I'm ready. I shared these with my sister and she also loved them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to test to see if it actually worked before we went to a up coming wedding, so fed my daughter and then pumped and put away. Later that night I had a glass of wine, I waited an hour and tested and got a very faint blue mark, which was great. I did it again after two hours and it was actually dark blue and this was after just one glass of wine which I thought was great. I'm no a big drinker so the once in a blue mom I would decide to have a glass of wine I am now able to make sure my milk is alcohol free. But just make sure you wait to test.
I have a 5 month old & these strips came just in time for my girls night! It gives me peace of mind - my only concern is after the 3 minutes sometimes the strip does turn blue.. can that be a false positive? Or did the test take more time to detect the alcohol
