I live in an apartment complex and every since I moved in the AC hasn't worked right despite the air conditioner servicing company coming to work on it numerous times (8). It completely went out this past week and I was ready for it with my new Air Cooler. It saved the day (and all of the days since while waiting on AC maintenance once again). I was really surprised by how cool it makes the rooms. It cools off my living room, dinning area, kitchen and most of my hall. And that's even with my long haired cat hanging out in front of it which is now her favorite spot to be. I love all of the different options including rotation, speed and the timer, just to name a few. I really love that it's moveable with the wheels. When I go to bed, I roll it into my bedroom. I even drag this outside with me when I sit on my porch to read.
I received this cooling fan at the perfect time. We are having renovations done on my home and it gets pretty hot upstairs in my home while the workers do their renovations. I love that the fan has a handle and is easy to carry around and I also love that I can use it as a fan or evaporative cooler. The water tank is easy to remove and my fan came with 2 ice packs that I can add to the tank to make the air even cooler. The remote lets me control it from anywhere in my room. I also like the oscillation function.
My favorite feature is the unit's portability. It can be taken into any room or even outdoors to cool down the area you are in. We have no air-conditioning in our garage so when my husband is working in the garage in the hot weather the Frigidaire EC400WF 2-in-1 Evaporative Air Cooler and Fan is a welcome blessing to cool down the area and make it much more comfortable for him to continue working. It's easy to operate and sets up in minutes. The fan mode has three speeds and is super quiet so not to wake a sleeping child or baby.
I have never had a evaporative cooler fan but I'm happy I have one now! I like that you can customize the settings and it comes with a remote which is very convenient. Its a perfect size for any room in your house. Upon turning it on I could already feel the cool air and hear the soothing sounds of the fan. Our windows are too small to fit a standard size air conditioner so having the evaporative fan cools our main living space with ease also without the loud air conditioner noise. The best feature is the timer. You can choose 1h,2h,4h or 8h and it turns off automatically which is a plus. I highly recommend this product it's fantastic!
This has been a life saver the past couple nights. With poor circulation in the bedroom, we have used this to help cool the room. If the air isn't cool enough, there are 2 ice packs (provided) to chill the air even more! Standing at a little over 2 feet tall, it can definitely move plenty of air! It is also quiet enough to have in the bedroom and not disturb anyone's sleep! Its locking casters keep it from moving around when bumped. It is also light enough to move from room to room as needed. Havent used the evaporator yet, but will be super useful during our dry, mild winters. Setup was a breeze! Opened the box, plugged it in, and it worked perfectly!
Literally love this product! I now turn off my AC and let it run and my house will be cool! The water feature sounds like rain so it's super comforting when I go to bed! Obsessed with it:)
I've had this for about a week now and I have used this every single day and especially night. It's relatively quiet and blows cold air to our liking. The remote makes it even better so you don't have to get up to change the settings or shut it off. I highly recommend this!
I live in the desert, it is already in the 90s here which means we have to have the air on, but being that it's the desert it's also extremely dry meaning we also have to have a humidifier keep from waking up with scratchy throats and cracking lips. We've been using this Evaporative cooler in place of the fan and humidifier in our kids playroom during the day and in our bedroom at night and I am so impressed! It is keeping the room cool while also emitting a sort of mist into the air we are breathing. We have all woken up feeling better then we did before! The different settings it has are great for different times of day. I cannot day enough great things about this product.
I love how this is only 45 watts versus my centralized AC which can run up to over 1000 watts. It is a personal evaporative fan with excellent features. It is very quiet and cools me down about two degrees. I put two pitchers of cold water in and it lasts me overnight, even at 85 to 90 degree summer weather. I place the fan about two to three feet away and it is very comfortable, specially with a window open for air circulation. No need for expensive AC. The only thing I would change is the beeping when I turn it on or off. What impressed me the most is the customer service that I got from Ingrid. I am tempted to buy a second unit for another area of the house, although I can easily move this from one spot to another.
Fits perfectly on my small studio apartment, ordered it before summertime hits. And it provides the cooling that i need.
