[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Friskies cat food offers a balanced and varied diet that is generally well-accepted by cats. While there are some considerations regarding ingredient quality, the brand's commitment to providing essential nutrients and a wide range of flavors makes it a solid choice for many cat owners. Whether you're looking for an affordable everyday food or a tasty treat for your feline friend, Friskies is a brand worth considering.
This wet food is about the only food the cats I feed will eat. From the oldest which is 17 years old to the youngest which is 2 months old, they love it. They will not eat the flakes very well and the chunks or bits will not eat at all. I feed 11 plus strays at one address and 8 plus stray at another everyday. Tame or feral, young or old, hungry or starving, normal or finicky appetite, it doesn't matter. This is one cat food that pleases all
Like I said, he loves that stuff. I've also noticed his fur is softer %26 shinier too. The only problem is, his turds are a little too mushy now, so I mix it with dry kibble and it helps make his turds the desired consistency.
I have 4 indoor cats and 2 outdoor cats, all rescues. I use to buy the generic brand because it was cheaper but they were out so I tried this. All 6 of the cats like this better and they all prefer the shredded or minced verisons. and there's nothing left in the cans so I feel like I'm getting my monies worth.
I didn't know that they have shredded. Ocean Whitefish & Tuna. Cat loved it but it is a bit messy , My cat is a messy when it has gravy. I use the pate and he loves it.
Cats love the Ocean White Fish. However, I ordered Two OWF Shreds, I received one Shreds one Pate. NOT a Big Deal! Really. These things happen. A customer probably put a Pate back in the Shreds. Clerk grabbed two cans didn't notice.
I have consistently fed my cats Friskies brand canned wet food for at least 15 years. First, the indoor formulas and Treasures with greens made them sick. Quit trying. The last year or two, they reject most anything made by Friskies and I'd wondered if the company had changed the ingredients or process, but continued to buy and offer, even though the consistency of the same TYPE of food (filets, meaty bits, chunky w/extra gravy) had been SO inconsistent. I never liked the consistency of the shreds so only bought them if part of a boxed variety, but the cats seemed to like them because of more gravy/liquid so I bought a dozen cans of several shreds flavors to try to perk up appetites, but every single choice made all the cats vomit! I am starting to think the cats know something that I don't about what's in ALL Friskies canned food and am thinking I may have to start making my own cat food so I'll know EXACTLY what is going in it. Not many choices in either box stores or pet stores, and none with ingredients listed that are transparent or that are particularly good for the cats. Have only waited this long because I know the cats need taurine and specific vitamins and minerals in specific amounts and I really don't want to fret over it but it's looking like I may have to. I certainly cannot afford the specialty foods that are already well researched, like a cat version of Katherine Heigl's Badlands Ranch recipe for dogs. You shouldn't have to be rich to properly feed multiple cats!
Grocerys were left outside my porch. I specifially asked for grocerys to be put inside my porch. Anyone walking by could easily pick up my packages.
Can was very dented. I canceled getting this can as soon as I was told it had to be shipped! Was told it was too late. What a waste of money for one lousy can that I paid $.90 for.
Got the shreds by mistake. We normally only use the prime fillets version of this flavor. We thought it might be interchangeable. We were wrong. Our cats completely turned up the nose at this. It is pale, barely resembling any type of meat, and the cats just don't eat it.
