I love these screens! If you have pets, it's a great way to save your regular screens from getting damaged by the animals. I have cats, so they like to sit on the window sill, and they often push up against the screen when they are sitting there, and a lot of times it will eventually cause the screen to come loose. These adjustable screens are strong and they can't tear these up.
I like the window screen I just wished the people at walmarts gave me the right size its suppose to be 37" not 33" so now I have to return it but these screens are awesome
I found the assembly suitably sturdy for its intended use. I also found the appliance to be self explanatory in looking at it. It's firm enough to hold in place lengthwise, but able to easily adjust longer or shorter. The height is fixed, but moving the bottom edge of a double/single hung window on to the top firmly holds it in place. Some window designs may require more downward pressure than others. These screens open out to fit the entire window, creating an extra layer of barrier between my kitties and the ground. I now feel completely at ease when I see them spot something through the window and take off in a sprint straight for it. The other positive thing is that I am able to shut the windows over these screens if a rain should blow in, or if I decide to turn on the air conditioner. This was a perfect way to control outside viewing into the house and allow night breezes and cool mornings. This wood frame screen is built to help air circulate through your home. It is fast and easy to install and remove so that you can use on a cool day and remove when needed.
There were two in my package. One was perfect! The other, unfortunately, was damaged. Small pieces of wood were in the package that broke off. A small tack had been placed into the damaged end, but was ineffective. I had to make a trip to the store to return it. I do like them and will buy againl.
I needed screens but my windows are old and I cannot find screens to replace them so these fit in nicely you can adjust them but they are not very sturdy or well made. the wiring came apart so easily if you're careful with them though they'll work very good for you
The price was great, the product not so hot. I have attached the pictures to explain. First, I bought 4 of these. Two of them had the screen cut too small, so that it did not go into the frame. None of the frames on these were "square", so when yo place it in a window there are good size gaps between the screen and the window frame. That makes a great little bug door. No quality control with these screens
okay so I ordered this for delivery order and that was a bad thing LOL the person that shopped and delivered my order unfortunately did not look at the screen good enough to realize it had imperfections in it and when i remove the paper that come in the screen, it broke it even more. I asked for a refund/replacement but a pickup was not available which can confuse me because I have Walmart Plus. my best and only option because I was doing delivery that day is to just fix the screen. if I shop this item myself at the store I could have seen the imperfections and would have never picked it up for purchase
I didn't accept either screen because neither of the screens were attached to the frame and one even had a hole in it. They asked me if I wanted to exchange them or wanted a refund, I said refund because if those two were that bad I could only imagine what the other ones might look like. So the guy told me he would refund me and took the screens in with him. The gentleman that did my order was a very nice man to show me how messed up those screens were, I totally appreciated and very thankful that he pointed it out to me. Otherwise I would have went back to Walmart a very upset lady.
Horrible. I ordered 6 screens. I received 5 today. Each one was either damaged or stuck in place from damaged tracks. One had a hole in the screen on the side where it is tucked in. Every other screen the tracks were broken or stuck. I feel robbed. No wonder why people steal from these places. They steal from you legally. how can they even feel ok about sending these damaged items out to people. Criminal.
Measured the with it would have fit that way , should have just had the screen replaced I'll use it on the porch and hope the window fan fits out in the kitchen and creates a breeze way ro the porch !
