Good price, fast shipping!
Did not work for my needs, but it works. I wasn't using it to keep pipes from freezing so the function where it only heats if a low temperature is reached didn't work for me.
perfect size, easy to install
If you want to avoid pipes bursting and a costly fix, during freezing weather, I suggested getting these affordable heated cables for plumbing! They arrived just in time before the subzero weather and kept our water running safely.
the temperature has been down in the single digits and we have not had a problem since we hooked this up.
I assume that this product works good if I was able to try it out but I ended up buying the wrong size. I hope my pipes don't freeze overnight!
need to make sure that the thermostat is exposed and not covered up. i wrapped my hose leading to the motor home with heat wire. and insulation the heat tape was warm enough to shut down but not keep the pipe from freezing. since I exposed the thermostat i have solved this problem
Does not work. Does not heat. Is not worth the money. Just save yourself some time and go buy a heated water hose.
I called and asked if I could have someone come pick this up inside because he didn't want to wait 3 hours, because my nephew was at home with 3 kids and had frozen pipes. He was having a friend pick them up on his way to help. I live in Fremont an hour away. I was told yes. Send them the order info. I did! He gets there and they would not let him go pick it himself and said he had to come back. So he leaves and not even 5 minutes they say its ready. So now he has to turn around and go back.
Didn't keep my pipes from freezing.
