I purchased the Fuji A805 for an upgrade from my previous camera. This camera perfomed beyond my expectations. the clarity and depth of perception of the photos will amaze you. This camera has all the functions of some more expensive cameras. It is easy to use and to switch functions to capture the best photo is as simple as a click. I've had this camera for one week and bought for a trip while in S. Korea. You can't go wrong with this camera.
I recieved this camera as a christmas and could not have been more pleased with it. I owned an 4 mexa pixel camera before this one (also a fujifilm) and am amazed at the difference in picture quality the new model produces. Adjusting the settings and getting into different menus on this model are infinitely easier as well. Getting used to how the camera zooms in and out was an adjustment - it is located around the picture taking button - but I think I will manage. The only down side to this model I would say is the picture editing program. If you simply take pictures and have them printed without any adjustments - disregard my opinion here. For those that do edit beyond the "auto adjust feature" this part's for you. I don't find this particular program as efficent as the older ones. You don't have the same options to manually edit a photo, remove red eye, or crop. While you can use features on the camera to crop or remove red eye -it might alter the appearence of some photos. I tend to upload my photos with the newest software and then edit however necessary with my previous software since I find it more user friendly. I would also suggest purchasing a sd card so you have the ability to store more pictures. Depending on the amount of pictures and/or the quality you want pictures taken/saved at - you can find a card for as low as $15.
I wasn't worried that it wouldn't take great pics of my surroundings because of all the great reviews this camera recieved. But I was worried that it wouldn't take good enough pics of my artwork to make good prints, but it did! I love my camera. Batteries last long and the case fits perfectly. Arrived early than expected too!
This was my first digital camera. I am on a small, fixed income (Why do they call it fixed if I'm always broke?.. Shouldn't it be called a BROKE income?).. Anyways.. So this was a major purchase for me. I searched the entire Google Earth from my desk for the best deal and the best camera at the best price... And after reading all the reviews for this one, which has great features and a great price, I purchased it. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now, (purchased a 1gig memory card also, the camera only holds like 4 full size pics without one) the pics come out excellent.. And now Im a really modernized cool cat type by making and uploading videos onto Youtube that I have made with the camera.
This camera was a real bargin! I have purchased 3 digital cameras in the past and this one blows them away. 8.3 MP makes a huge difference in picture quality. I have printed out some awesome photos from my own printer. I bought this camera for my wife, but she hasn't had a chance to use it. I guess, I will have to let her play with it at some point. It is very simple to use and makes fine quality photo prints when using good grade photo paper. This camera has a "forced flash" option, which means no more shaded faces with bright backgrounds. If you want a great $100.00 camera, look no futher. The only thing that I would recommend you buy with this camera is a 2GB SD High Performance Memory Card. It's approx. $25.00 - $30.00. The camera does not come with a memory card. The 2GB SD card will give you anywhere from 450 to over a 1000 pictures, depending on what photo quality you set your camera to. I purchased the Kodak SD card and it works great. I took a photo of my daughter and printed it on a 8x10 HP glossy photo paper. I took the photo to work and showed some co-workers. Two of the co-workers ordered this camera the next day. I highly recommend this product.
No problem at all. Everything was go from the start and I had Pic's as soon as the bat's were charged up. My first digital and easy to understand and no hangups about getting started with it. This camera made me glad I waited for a digital because for the price I got it all and that only was one less thing to worry about.
This is the first digital camera I've ever purchased, and I've come away impressed. It's very easy to use, and the on-screen displays even tell you what shot selection you could use. It came packaged with an A/V cable, and a USB cord to transfer your files to your PC/Mac. The case is very sturdy and has a loop on the back to attach to a belt. I fully recommend this product!
This wasn't my first choice, but they ran out of the camera I truly wanted, but I actually really like the camera, I wish it would of come with the cord to charge the batteries inside the camera tho, so far the cheapest one I've found is 30 dollars. I didn't like photo quality at first, but now that I've played with it more I think it does a good job, you just have to choose the right setting. I'd recommend it!
This camera takes marvelous pictures, is incredibly easy easy to use, and was a great deal through and through. I get stopped everytime I bring this camera out. This camera will be used for a long time, and I've already felt I've gotten my money's worth out of it. I especially love how you can completely turn off digital zoom on this camera. It is a feature I'm incredibly fond of because pictures taken using digital zoom typically aren't worth printing. The flash balance is much better than any other digital camera I've ever owned, and red eye has been a fairly rare occurence.
When I bought this product, I was very pleased with how well the pictures are taken. They are very good quality, and the batteris that come with it actually hold charge. On my old camera, the batteries basically got a one time use, then back into the charger onto the wall they went. I definitely reccomend this product!
