This Instax square camera is the new and modern version of it and takes me back to my childhood and how fun it is to use. I recently took to a wedding and everyone had a great time passing it around and using it with ease. I would highly recommend this camera

It even has a little mirror on the front for selfies. Putting the film in was easy, just open the back and insert. I only wish it came in a bigger box. Unfortunately you only get 10 pictures per film.

Picture quality is great!The image quality is so unique which is what makes Instax cameras special. The square film is a nice size and I'm glad I went with it over the mini. The only two things I wish were different are battery type and built-in timer, or lack there of. The selfie mode and mini mirror in the front of the camera are such great features, but a timer would have complimented the selfie mode perfectly. On the other hand, the simplicity of this camera is really why I bought it. It really is a point and shoot with no bells and whistles. All things considered, I am glad I purchased this camera and look forward to continue using it for a long time.

It comes with 2 CR2 batteries which are easy to install as is the film. It is a great size, not too heavy and straight forward to use. Load the film, turn the dial to switch on the camera and you are ready to snap your pictures. There is also a selfie mode, turn the dial to selfie mode, frame yourself in the selfie mirror to the side of the lens and take your picture. The camera has an automatic flash, perfect for indoors and low light. The picture takes around 90 seconds to develop and after downloading the Instax Up app on my iPhone I can scan the image to store and share it digitally. The camera uses instax® SQUARE” instant film and comes in lots of fun styles, monochrome, sunset, rainbow and others. A fun camera!

My teenage daughter loves borrowing it for decorating her room. She and her friends have a lot of fun with it. The quality is decent, about what you would expect from instant film camera. The body of the camera is very cute and has a nice grip. I really like the size. I think it looks a bit more expensive and professional than it is, which I think is one reason my kids love using it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The insta sq 40 camera is simple to use and provides a cute Polaroid picture that develops in approx 90 seconds. The pictures are good quality. You simply turn the dial to on to take a picture and the Polaroid comes out from the top. There is a selfie mode on the dial that you are able to use with a small square mirror on the front of the camera to take selfies. The cons: I have come accustomed to looking at my phone camera to take pictures so it was an adjustment to look through a small lens to focus on the picture I would like to take. The location where the film is loaded has a latch to open it up. I felt this was something very easy to open and could be opened with film inside since it didn't have a locked feature. The pros: a cute nostalgic picture. With everything digital, I rarely develop pictures so nice to have a printed copy. The kids love it. A nice simple compact square camera with a camera strap for ease with carrying. The camera creates bright images with automatic exposure. I will enjoy having this camera and using it on special occasions.
