I got the space gray 4 TB model, which is working very well. I could very easily reformat it to Apple's APFS file format.
I bought 2 - 4TB drives for backup, one worked perfectly the other one wouldn't mount and wasn't recognized by the OS. I lost my entire successful backup and had to reinstall everything.
This device is not compatible with OSX Monterey. The G-Drive just spins and nothing happens.
