We needed these balls for Special Olympic tennis-they work great and I would recommend them for those learning to play full court tennis. They bounce slower and make a sound when you hit them. This allows the player more time to get to the ball and be more successful.
These balls make it much easier for beginners to learn tennis as they are slower and bounce less. Another plus is that these have lower pressure than regular balls and therefore should lose pressure and therefore bounce slower than regular balls. The felt also looks more durable than regular tennis balls.
