I love using powders as a delivery for probiotics. Primal Defense HSO powder goes great in smoothies or oatmeal while supporting overall good gut flora health.
My husband and I started taking this supplement immediately. We have both seen and felt a difference in our overall health. He went from having to take tums 3 or 4 times daily to none at all. We are both sleeping better, we have more energy and just feel years younger. I will stay on the Primal Defense for life and I recommend it to anyone wanting to improve their overall health and well being
I had taken probiotics for years, but never felt any different. With Primal Defense, as soon as I started taking it, I felt a huge energy boost. My digestion improved too, and when I had worked up to larger amounts, I was able to tolerate many foods that I had not been able to tolerate before. I will never stop taking this!
This comes in a small container, with a very small scoop. You don't need much, but it's always messy trying to fish the scooper out--and this stuff is black, like dirt. But I hate taking pills, and this is way better, even with the mess. If you're looking for regularity, without mishaps, look no further.
I really like this Primal Defense product. It gives a great boost to the entire digestive & immune systems. It does NOT have to be refrigerated; which makes it much handier. The caps are good too; but I prefer taking this powder in water, 30 min before a meal. It coats & implants the entire digestive tract with outstanding good bacteria. Not everyone would like to take it this way because it does not have a great taste. However, I can take this easy enough in water, to receive its extra benefits taken in this fashion. This contains the bacteria b. subtilis, which is hard to find in probiotics. B. subtilis creates vitamin Kw through fermentation, so you can add it to any food you are fermenting yourself, such as sauerkraut, yogurt, or kefir. You can put a small scoop in milk, leave it out on the counter for a day or two, and the bacteria culture and thicken the milk into a runny yogurt-like product.
I tried this form as I've heard capsules are not the best distribution method. It doesn't taste as bad as I expected from the reviews and seems to help keep me regular.
"It's very hard to determine the quality and effectiveness. But I do know that it is very gritty, kind of like eating dirt, and so it is very hard to take. It's fine in a smoothie but if I ever buy it again, I'd get the capsules."
I thought I would try the Primal Defense HSO Formula but it made me feel sick. I have had chronic Lyme disease and chronic fatigue and osteoarthritis since the 1980's. Maybe it was a herxheimer response? But I quit taking it because it made me dizzy and somewhat nauseous. Thank you for asking.
