I bought this a couple of weeks ago to replace google maps as my direction map. It is awesome! Works great in car and motor home
Very easy to use exactly what I was looking for. I have always used a Garmin they have been the most accurate. This one has not disappointed me.
We have about 5 Garmin's this one is by far the best of them all.
Works well, it is very fast, can do a lot of things, only used it 1 week for 2 trips. Very happy so far.
Perfect for traveling in my RV
Did my research before buying this. Didn't have the best reviews but I have it a shot anyway. Once you have your RV setup correctly and other navigation settings correct, the unit works great. I always double check the route before I drive it just to be safe, but it works good. The smartphone link works great, weather, traffic, traffic cams all visible on your map. #sweepstakes
I liked the ease with which I was able to key in my destination and have the voice tell me exactly where to turn and what lane to be in. The fact that it works well for planning a route for RV's is what made the purchase right for me.
I'm disappointed with my purchase. I bought this GPS because I deliver travel trailers and wanted something that can give me a safe route. When I have it set on car mode and compare it to what Google maps on my phone shows, Google maps runs circles around Garmin. Garmin can show up to and hour more in travel time. Garmin is slow to recalculate and does not give you route choices. Google maps give you two and sometimes three route choices. Also if you want to up date it you better have a high speed connection! It took me 16 hours to update this one. Pros: It tells your speed and what the speed limits are. Let's you know school zones, rail road crossings, curves in the roads...etc.
Just bought this RV 770, please be cautious with the route guidance as it tried to route me an extra 60 miles farther than a known route of 120 miles. It also asked me to turn into a pasture dirt road to turn around, I wonder who was going to unlock the gate? Luckily I had old fold out maps to get me from Texas to Colorado on the shortest route. I wasted my time contacting Garmin Chat Support, I'm returning my RV770 and will look at other non Garmin products. Sorry Garmin I was a loyal customer for years.
One of the few RV specific GPS, Worked well for about a week and then it died
