This Garmin is great, all the additional information, such as current street driving on, crosswalk information, school zones marked and speed zone changes upcoming. If your exceeding the speedlimit, your speed turns red. Especially like downloading old address on former Garmin product to this new Garmin.
The narrator speaks clearly and has a pleasant voice. Also, the instructions are clear and she warns you in good time before then next turn etc. let's you know when the next city or town is. Let's you know when the speed has changed. Instructions are clear. Screen is detailed but not confusing. We love our Garmin.
My wife bought this for as a gift, I use it everyday day while on the road. I love that it tells you the speed limit, the name of the upcoming road and it's easy to use.
This is a good item. Bought for my dad who is not overly teach savvy but needs some direction. Gives good visual and audio directions. Easy to program and use. Would recommend this item.
Feel updates for the life of the device, maps of entire USA and Canada, needed to update a few times as it was out of date which is normal. Will tell you of incoming speed traps and tell you speed limit of most roads with the exception of some Canadian streets. Does take some getting used to compared to older models but can't beat the price considering I was almost going to pay the same to get Canada maps on my old Garmin without the new and improved gps.
it's doing great very simple to use
this Gps seem complicated to me. i have to have a complete address to find anything. i was in my house and it couldn't find my address . gave me the neighbors 3 houses down. and i wish it had search along route and voice search. the suction cup only sticks to the window and doesn't stay.
Love Garmin but they have messed up the map software. Streets are now numbers with no street names. How can you find some place with no street names. Disappointed for now. Hopefully an update will fix this. Have never had a problem with Garmin before.
I have been trying for over a month to get this up and running. And now I think it is too late to return it. I had a Garmin GPS before, that was easy to set up and run, that's why I ordered another one. My mistake. When you ad all kinds of things it can do, you don't make customers happy. I doubt they evan use them. And when you try to get help, They treat you like you are some kind of moron. If you come up with one for seniors, let me know. I couldn't even figure out how to charge it up. Saying charge it up is not an explanation of how to do it. It assumes you know how. I don't.
I'm surprised that this Garmin is such a piece of junk, always had a high opinion of their brand. I ordered it to replace a xgody which did not function as another sad brand. This Garmin I suspect is refurbished and being sold by the company as new because it had my home in Miami Florida 2000 miles away. It would not let me change it. New Garmin's are blank when it comes to your home address. Also the map on this Garmin was from 2022. No it would not let me download a new map. So I received it today and now I have to return it tomorrow. Not a happy customer.
