Garmin GPS 52 is best for me as it is so simple and with basic needs. Price is cheap, compared with other companies.
Great for use in Florida and the United States on vacation. I've had this a few vacations now and it is very easy to use and intuitive. I don't know what I'd do without it.
My 5-year-old vehicle has a built-in GPS that needs an update. When I checked online, I found the update was more expensive than this Garmin GPS. Moreover, it apparently is difficult to install. It made more sense to buy this one with free updates and traffic alerts than fuss with the in-dash unit. Walmart had the best price I could find for it, too.
Right out of the box worked beautifully. I ought it because I have dementia bd was no longer comfortable navigating on my own. Best purchase ever…easy to set up..plug and go !
Merchandise arrived as described
it was okay. a few times it directed me to longer route and there were no delays in rhe shortest route. i wished there was a way to view the full map and be able to choose another route, something similar to how google map lets you choose. tried to do this to determine the border we are going to cross through which was over 8 hours away also wish there was a charger you could use on a regular plug.
It is a good size but there are places in there that haven't existed for years so I'm assuming the map is not an updated map which is really disappointing. When you buy a new GPS you expect to have a GPS with the latest map version
Charged the GPS all night and the battery died during the first trip in a 30 min drive. We will be returning the unit.
It's turned off by itself in the middle of the highway, and have to start all over again and again makes frustrated. Never recommend to anyone this model.
This unit is a piece of junk from day one I did all of the update and reloaded the maps and I can't find any locations in Maine. I live in Mass. Can't get ahold of tech support so no help. Do not buy this product
