I've had the Forerunner 225s for 3 weeks and I love it! Heart rate, stress, sleep score, body battery and Garmin coach are some of my favorite features. I got this watch to motivate me to start running again and I'm back to running 5K‘s in the mornings. Garmin coach helped me keep my pace and plan what days are good for runs. Sometimes I take pics while I'm out and can post with my stats on social media. I also use it for strength training to keep track of my sets reps and weight. I like that it has GPS so I don't have to have my phone on me when I go hiking or running. It has notifications to see your calls and text messages but I turn them off because I don't like being bothered.( I'm not an Apple Watch gal) The watch face and the app are very customizable to see the features that are important to you. It also connects to my other health apps on my phone like my fitness pal so I can keep track of my calories and macros and syncs to the Garman app. The battery life last five or six days and it's a durable and stylish watch. My wrist is super tiny so this was the perfect size. Looking forward to training for marathons using my Garmin forerunner 255S.
Once I worked out how to load music on to it and then work the volume it's everything I needed Love it do not need to carry an extra device for music Nice and compact great product Battery life is good as my last garmin was starting to run down faster
I've had the watch for a month, and I'm very happy with it, because it adapts exactly to the physical activities I do, and since it syncs with the IPhone it's excellent!
I love all the features! I previously had the venue and upgraded to the 255 forerunner and after eight months it's never off my wrist. The flash light features definitely my favorite

I got this for a Christmas gift and oh do I love it! This watch has SO MUCH data and the more you wear it the more data it produces. It takes a bit for the watch to get to know you (about a month) so you have to be patient for a bit. The workouts are great because you can program them! You can program a run or a HIIT workout which is probably one of the coolest features. I also think this is WAY more accurate than the Apple Watch I used to have. 10/10!
Each upgrade of my Garmin has been at least one step up. This most recent upgrade (255S music) is amazing. I'm not a professional runner. Many have said I'm not even a runner as I run/walk, but i did finish my first marathon at 50 and plan on beating that time at 60. 255S music was purchased so that I could have music without having to have my phone. I chose the S size because I have a wrist of a 12 year old. It's taking a while to get to learn it, but I love what I've learned so far! Here's hoping it will help me get to the finish line.
Since my 645 Music broke the case just playing with my godson, I needed a new fitness watch to replace it. In the Garmin line, what made the most sense was the 255 Music for perfectly replacing the functions of the old watch. I've had it for a week and I could see the 4 years of evolution from one to the other: bigger screen, with better resolution, GPS that locks almost immediately, sturdier buttons, more useful training statistics and the music function without crashes during sessions of training. Oh and a bigger battery too, for about the same price as before. One complaint: the screen could have better contrast indoors and larger fonts on the system.
Sooo disappointed w/the lack of color in the display, %26 how hard it is to read w/o the backlight on! (I have only used it inside my house, since I'm mostly homebound. ) I had to increase the amount of time the backlight stays on, so the battery needs charging every 7-8 days. I wish I'd gotten the 265s, although someone said you can't see the screen with a flashlight, so I'd think it'd be the same with bright sun on it? My nurse said the heartrate is very accurate, %26 pulse ox. is pretty accurate (may be off up to 3%). I feel the same whether it says my Body Battery is 5% or 96%, but I do have CFS. Not sure why it says I've climbed 4 floors when I haven't climbed any. The alarm's volume is way too low to wake me up. The sleep tracking is horrendous! It often overestimates my sleep by hours, when I'm sitting in a recliner watching tv %26 using my laptop. Sometimes it says I got no sleep at all when I slept 8 hrs. I'm up hourly to use the bathroom, %26 sometimes it logs part of my sleep as a nap. I do appreciate being able to track HRV, see text messages %26 send a pre-written reply, how long until sunset, date, day of wk., being able to find my cellph., %26 being able to see what time it is while in the shower.
Everything about this order was a disaster. Order placed April 1, showed up six days after promised delivery day. The screen is nothing like it's marketed to be it's very dim so I returned my order on April 14. I've had to call call four times since then, took them until May 3 to process my refund, now I wait another 10 days. I was also harassed by three different employees as to why I returned the product…. The response that I simply because I did not like it , seemed to not be sufficient enough for me to return. Do your research on this product before you buy it because returning it will be a nightmare .
