This is the best GPS that I have ever used! It gets me where I need to go with great graphics. It even helped me find some tennis courts I was.ooking for. I found the golf course that the tennis courts were at listed in my GPS WHICH WAS A GREAT FEATURE!
Bought this online during Cyber Monday /Black Friday sales. Paid $79.99. This is my first new Garmin in about 5 years. This one has free updates to its maps. Another nice feature is that it goes to a split screen when traveling on the highway just before you need to turn. It shows you exactly what lanes to stay in and even the exit sign you are suppose to follow. Used it on a recent trip to Michigan and it was awesome!
Great value for the money
After purchasing a new car that did not have navigation in it we opted to buy the nuvi65. We got the larger screen since we were afraid the 5" would be to small. The 6" screen is perfect and the navigation works great. Let's you know well in advance of any turns. Love it.
Garmin is one of the top leading GPS Navigation Systems out. I like the way they have advanced the screen on the Garmin device to make it more consumer friendly. The other positive is that the Free lifetime map updates makes this Garmin worth the money. I have never had major problems with my device. Sometimes it may lose signal due to satellite range while traveling but it definitely gets me to my destination. It can give you the directions to restaurants, gas stations, and shopping places. No more printing up directions or being lost when you have a garmin device.
Works great in my Jeep and on my Harley. Very portable, easy to read and use. Great buy.
I had a smaller one from years ago and did not have the lifetime updates which this one does. The screen is much larger, gives more options, shows the speed limit posted and the speed you are going on screen, easy find places. Great value for $129, free shipping too!
PLANNED A TRIP TO ACADIA NATIONAL PARK NEAR BAR HARBOR, MAINE. DOWNLOADED MAPS FOR THE NORTHEASTERN STATES UPON ARRIVAL OF THE GPS UNIT. LOADED MOTELS STOPS IN GPS FOR OHIO,PENNSYLVANIA,NEW YORK,NEW HAMPSHIRE AND MAINE AND ALL STOPS WORKED PERFECTLY. TOURED GETTYSBURG, CONTINUED TO BANGOR, MAINE WITH FOUR MOTEL STOPS ENROUTE. GOOD DIRECTIONS FROM BANGOR TO ACADIA NATIONAL PARK. THREE MOTEL STOPS ON RETURN TRIP PLUS A SIDE TRIP TO NIAGARA FALLS AND AGAIN NO PROBLEMS FINDING OUR WAY. ACTUALLY, THE TRIP WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE ENJOYABLE IF I COULD FIND A WAY TO ELIMINATE ALL THE TRAFFIC ENCOUNTERED EVERY DAY.
i have not tried on trip yet but locally i like it showing the next street as you come to it. the signs are at times hard to see or read so it is big help if looking for the street you want to turn on. it warns when you enter a school zone which will be nice in a area i'm not familiar with. two local roads the road sign says a speed but garmin says another. not a reliable source of the speed limit. i have not tried creating my own route with basecamp and loading into this but i am assured it will work. i don't like interstates if not needed and the nuvi 265 insisted i take them. i hand drew my own route and after a few recalculating it would match my map for awhile. it would not let me create in basecamp where as this will so i bought this. the price was worth the try it
I like this product since new product has fast search and improved UX. The only and main reason of giving low rate is - It is unable to find exact location sometimes which we were able to find in old GPS easily. When it is able to find exact address I am enjoying the ride, but I still have to use google maps to navigate certain locations. Note those locations are not new or recently constructed.
