We bought this before a long trip and and worked so much better than our old one. Easy to view the turns etc.
Works very well
Almost to big will have to put no copilots side ie wife side of windshield. Got what I paid for sooner than expected.
Works great
I had an 8 year old Garmin Nuvi and upgraded to the Garmin RV 780. My first step however was to purchase a new 2020 Chevy Silverado LTZ with navigation built in. Since I did not purchase On-Star, there was a lot missing from what I thought I would get according to the Chevy Salesman. The Chevy Navigation was constantly wanting me to turn on gravel roads that had nothing to do with the route. After going through the Chevy navigation settings for weeks and talking to the dealership, I gave up on the Chevy and purchased the Garmin RV 780. I love the voice command. It has worked perfectly so far. I also love the changing speed limit quiet ding (can be turned off if desired) that lets you know of changing speed limit zones. My old Garmin Nuvi would take me down a dead end road on occasion, but this one has worked perfect so far. I know that is too good to be true, but the large display and added functions make me very happy that I purchased the Garmin. It also allows you to select whether you are driving your RV or just car alone. I also love the map update without being connected to a computer. Just give the Garmin the network password and it takes care of updates. It does allow you to choose when and what to update.
Great RV Garmin has lots of features and information when driving.
still learning how to use it
Have not used it yet, but I have always used garmin products. I was currently using a Rand McNally, but it start giving me problems. I really like the bright vivid display on the garmin. But the screen cover said this product is ready to use. I couldnt download apps, couldnt connect Bluetooth and couldnt download maps and updates. I let it charge overnight, then everything loaded I needed to fully charge it, even though it was plugged in when I tried to update
good GPS .. Garmin voice search not so good
The screen is nice and there are some nice functions but it will not connect to bluetooth on my phone or on my car stereo bluetooth so its kind of useles because the voice volume is not loud enough if you have the windows open driving and if you cannot use the app whats the point.
